“Fairly mid. I went there with a friend as a last hurrah before she moves and it took us 15 minutes to find the building. Its in the same building as the burrito restaurant and the sign was really hard to see. We find it and we stand there for 10 minutes not knowing if we were in the right place because the decor made it very clear that it was the burrito place and we weren't very sure where to go. The owners were very nice and just said that we could sit anywhere and would bring us some menus. We get settled and order and it takes about 25 minutes for the them get started on making our rolled ice cream. 45 minutes later we have 2 of our 5 ice creams. Another lady comes in and finishes our order in 25 minutes. I'm not sure if the first lady was a trainee or wasn't trained specifically for the ice cream side of the restaurant, but took a really long time to get our ice cream, but overall it was a super fun night. The ice cream was ok, and I would probably go back just because of the vibe. Not something you should do if you don't have a lot of time or if you want super good quality rolled ice cream.“

Too many tiny chocolate chips and not enough vanilla ice cream imo. I feel like I am just eating a whole chocolate bar. A little too sweet for me. “I came from northern Virginia 3 hours away to visit Norfolk and we stopped by penguins in my opinion the mango flavor with mango pieces was the best combination out of everything.I recommend this place to everyone in Norfolk either live or visit penguins and they are way better than the slurpee at 7-11 cause they don’t have the natural fruit like penguins does.“

“Crumbl never disappoints! The cookies are huge, soft in the center with that perfect chewy edge, and the rotating weekly menu keeps things exciting. I love how creative the flavors are — from classics like Chocolate Chip to fun ones like Churro or Key Lime Pie. The presentation is always on point, and the pink box makes it feel like a treat before you even take a bite. Prices are a little higher than a typical cookie shop, but the size and quality make up for it. Definitely my go-to when I want to treat myself or surprise friends!“

“Not completely obvious from the main road, this little Dairy Queen is worth a stop. The toppings are always fresh, food arrives fast, I've never gotten an incorrect order and servings are always the amount expected or more (at least for ice cream). And this is hands-down ALWAYS the friendliest fast food store staff I have ever met. I don't always get the same person, but whomever is at the window always greets me and has a big smile. That alone keeps me coming back. This must be a fun place to work.“

“Was in Chesapeake Virginia and it was. Free cone day so we stopped at DQ there and picked up a free cone. The DQ'S in Elizabeth City and edenton do not do any permotions at their store they are owned by the same people. Never do the same things thstvall other DQ'S do.“

“I want to highlight the amazing service I received today (September 19th at 8:24pm), thanks to Mike. From the moment my boyfriend and I walked in, Mike greeted us warmly. There was a customer before us with a larger order. That order caused the store to get a little backed up and led to a long line, but Mike still took the time to acknowledge us and let us know he’d be right with us.

Once he finished with the customers ahead of us, he thanked us sincerely for our patience and then took our order with a positive attitude and professionalism. During checkout, he went above and beyond by explaining the rewards system in detail (how many points you earn per dollar, etc.), which was super helpful.

It’s important to note that Mike was the only employee up front handling all the customers, yet he managed to keep things moving while maintaining excellent customer service and a great attitude.

I’ll be honest, I almost didn’t come back to this location after a not-so-great first experience a few days ago. I’m glad I gave it another chance, because Mike completely turned it around with his exceptional service.“

“I went to this frozen yogurt location with hunger in my stomach and a passion for something sweet. I’ve been to plenty of good places like sweet frogs and cold stones but nothing can top the experience I had today. The staff were excellent and I love their funny little shirts. Not to mention the yogurt was delicious and the toppings were scrumptious. I wouldn’t even have complained if everyone working was on their phones when I walked in, that’s how excellent and attentive they were as soon as I entered. “I think it’s important to write a review when you have an awesome experience, and today was that day at Dairy Queen. It was really busy today around 8 so I decided to go inside. 1) everyone was extremely safe in regards to COVID 2) the cashier I had (it says Kiera on my receipt) was extremely nice and efficient. I told her I had a hefty order (8 ice creams) and she was able to get everything accurate right off the bat and was just overall so sweet. Awesome job girl👍🏻 3) they made ALL my ice creams so quickly. Like....freaky fast efficient. The woman working the counter made sure I had enough spoons, put all of them in a drink carrier for me and the best part.....OFFERED TO HEP ME BRING THEM TO MY CAR 😱😍 just amazing.
