Oyster Rockefeller was mouth watering and the seasoning used on the broccolini was a different taste but very good! They definitely have some awesome cooks here!!”

“I drove 3 hours 20 minutes to this yard house got my order the bok choy was missing from my orange chicken I called and asked what happened to the bok choy and the host told me that they ran out of bok choy right before my order and they just got a truck in and the bok choy is now back I would definitely return soon because I love your house but I just don't appreciate the lies. I also open the yard house down in Austin Texas and I know that's not how service is supposed to go but again it's a great establishment so I definitely will be back.”

“Mom and Son Thai Kitchen is the best Thai restaurant that I’ve tried. My family loves it as do all the family and friends that I’ve recommended it to. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. I’ve always liked Thai food, but I LOVE the Thai food from Mom and Son Thai Kitchen. It is very fresh and full of flavor. Everything I’ve had tastes like it was made from scratch with love. My favorite dishes are the Thai fried rice, basil stir fry, Pad Kee Mao, and the Thai Noodle Soup. If you’ve never tried this place, go try it ASAP!”

“I’m not one to give a good review unless it’s truly worth it. One thing I don’t like is when people are dishonest about a restaurant’s food just for popularity. But when I tell you I traveled across the water today to get this food based on someone else’s review, their review was no lie!

I’m from up north and have tasted some really good food, and I haven’t gotten that same authentic taste in Virginia. I’ve also had authentic Jamaican food at its best, so I’m very picky. But when I tell you Yaad Vybz got it… they got it!!!

I had the oxtail, mac n cheese, steamed veggies, chicken soup and jerk pork. While I waited for my food, I tried their Love Potion drink that was on the happy hour special. Not only was it good, it was refreshing.

The staff was very sweet. One thing I want to mention is that a person who got her food before me was actually in tears because the server must have given her a kind gesture that I didn’t hear. The customer was saying how she had a bad day and the server made her day better. I was very touched by that interaction.

When I tell y’all, if you ever want some tasty, flavorful Jamaican food, this is the place to go, no debate! I will definitely be coming here from now on whenever I’m on that side of the water.

I took my family there for lunch on Saturday, everything was excellent, they were slightly busy, yet they greeted us with a smile, asked if it was our first visit? They helped us by telling us about all the food, which was plentiful and had great taste. We all had Jerk Chicken white meat with 2 sides, green beans and sweet potato. I recommend completely!”

“Seems like the place changed names but their menu still showed this name, the food was pretty good but nothing too spectacular. I do highly recommend the pound cake, it was delicious, they were out of avocado for one of our burgers but the waitress was amazing and went above and beyond to make up for it. “Don't put powdered sugar on your pancakes unless you're going to advertise it. When somebody tells you they can't have powdered sugar on their pancakes don't try to scrape it off and flip them upside down and hand them back. Get another Chef because the cook and the kitchen today was rude and did not care about any of the people that were there. Took forever to get food and when it did come everything except for the bacon and the potatoes was inedible. Listened to other people in the restaurant return food and listen to the chef give lip about it and say it was not his problem. Waitress was pleasant, she even tried to tell the cook that he couldn't scrape powdered sugar off the pancake but he did it anyway, only downside about her was that she was concerned about her phone than anything else. Will never return again. I should have paid attention that the reviews on this page are two years or more old. definitely not the place that was reviewed previously. Don't know what's happened but it's not good.”
