For almost half a century this place has had the best subs in town. When I was a teenager, my uncle would buy these for me and his family every pay day. I'm 51 now and I stopped in yesterday with one of the cousins. It has been 35 years and they still taste the same, delicious! It so hard to find anything that is as good as it was back in the day so I really appreciate this place.
My husband is a Portsmouth native and put me on to their subs and now i am looking and blinking at the other sub places around. I don't know what combo of dressing they use but it is sooo delicious! There is never a wait but I order on the phone and it's always ready. The bread is always fresh! The owners are very nice. I order the Italian and my husband order the Philly Steak and he will need a sub from any other place! Stop through! I promise you will not be disappointed.
