“This is the only place we will eat Thai food at. No other Bangkok Garden is like it. The food is superb and during lunch, they serve a tasty side salad and spring roll with duck sauce. You can never go wrong with their chicken fried rice or their curries ?“
“Today is the second time that we came to visit this restaurant. This place never misses. Both times the food was absolutely delicious. Very authentic Thai food! The waitress, She is always very nice and accommodating. She's great! The bathrooms are very clean, and the restaurant in general is also very clean. The owner painted several of the murals inside the restaurant, it's beautiful! Also, alot of their decorations have come directly from Thailand! I love the pad Thai , my husband has tried two different dishes, and both were was amazing. The soup he got this time was a Thailand traditional and authentic dish... it had a very awesome coconut taste that I can't even explain. The prices are great as well, we got the crab Rangoons again, and they are just so delicious. Everything about this restaurant is five stars to me, if you have not checked this place out, you are missing out!“
“Thai Basil is the best Thai food in Hampton roads! It is so authentic, the most of any other Thai restaurant I’ve tried here. Their food is delicious every single time. It is definitely the best pad thai I’ve had in all of Virginia, there is no place like it around. It is always my go-to meal when I want a perfect portion plus leftovers! Their curry and drunken noodles are also really good!!!“

“Quick service from the start! We were a group of five as walk-ins for a sit-down lunch. The staff was very friendly and got right to us. They helped us in some of our menu decisions. “My first time having Thai food and was I impressed. Our server was very polite and humorous. I can't say what I had to eat ( I didn't know what anything was) but it was outstanding. Their Thai iced coffee was a treat unto itself. The establishment was very clean and the decor was top notch. I will be returning there in the very near future.“
“We were visiting the Virginia Beach area and did not really know what to expect from this restaurant. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by the host and quickly seated. We came in at an off hour so it was not too crowded.The facility appear to be very clean and well kept. The decor was inviting. They rapidly provided us with water and gave us a few minutes to peruse The Fairly extensive menu. We decided on the pad thai and the green curry. We also decided on the appetizer combo.I ordered a Thai beer which they brought out with a chilled can and a Frosted Mug which was a nice touch.The appetizers were delicious. They were crisp when they were supposed to be crisp they were full and succulent when they were supposed to be that way and every single item was full of flavor. The entrées themselves soon followed and were quite large. We had underestimated how large the serving sizes would be.The Pad Thai was tasty and not overly sweet or salty. It was perfectly seasoned in my opinion and we had requested hot which was appropriate level of spiciness for us.The green curry was similarly and very delicious and well seasoned period I'm going to Thai places seem to overdo it but this one was well done and full of flavor yet not hitting you over the head with it. Again the portions were large and we ended up taking at least half of both items home because we were so full.When we did eat the doggy bag portions at home 2 days later, both items were just as tasty. Highly I highly recommend this place as you will get excellent service and delicious food.“
“The food was fresh and tasty. The service was great. The staff was attentive and quick to take orders and bring out food which was seasoned perfectly. No photos just enjoyed dinner with my family but, the foods appearance was appetizing. The restaurant was clean.We had the shrimp and scallop hibachi, the volcano roll, calamari, the Chesapeake roll, soup and salad. I would definitely return if I were to be in the area.Parking: It’s in a parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They have kid chopsticks.“
“It is dinner in Moms kitchen, literally. They make you feel welcome. This was my introduction into Thai. I ordered the Pad See Ew and a Thai coffee. Both were very delicious! I was so happy I ordered crab rangoon, crispy tofu, and Thai dumplings to go, for my son. All came with a select dipping sauce. He said they were all good. Personally, I think fried foods are best eaten dine in. Definitely will be back to try a chicken entree.“
