“Our first visit after fellow workers brought back lunch and I saw the food and portions, it looked and smelled great! I took my family there for lunch on Saturday, everything was excellent, they were slightly busy, yet they greeted us with a smile, asked if it was our first visit? They helped us by telling us about all the food, which was plentiful and had great taste. We all had Jerk Chicken white meat with 2 sides, green beans and sweet potato. I recommend completely!“

“I'm so glad I found this place! The food is amazing - hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The rice and peas, oxtail, and cocoa bread are a must-try. Reminds me of home! “I’m not one to give a good review unless it’s truly worth it. One thing I don’t like is when people are dishonest about a restaurant’s food just for popularity. But when I tell you I traveled across the water today to get this food based on someone else’s review, their review was no lie!
I’m from up north and have tasted some really good food, and I haven’t gotten that same authentic taste in Virginia. I’ve also had authentic Jamaican food at its best, so I’m very picky. But when I tell you Yaad Vybz got it… they got it!!!
I had the oxtail, mac n cheese, steamed veggies, chicken soup and jerk pork. While I waited for my food, I tried their Love Potion drink that was on the happy hour special. Not only was it good, it was refreshing.
The staff was very sweet. One thing I want to mention is that a person who got her food before me was actually in tears because the server must have given her a kind gesture that I didn’t hear. The customer was saying how she had a bad day and the server made her day better. I was very touched by that interaction.
When I tell y’all, if you ever want some tasty, flavorful Jamaican food, this is the place to go, no debate! I will definitely be coming here from now on whenever I’m on that side of the water.
