About HIGHER HEIGHTS CARIBBEAN RESTURANT

Higher Heights Caribbean Restaurant offers a variety of flavorful Caribbean dishes, with the jerk chicken lunch being particularly noted for its spiciness. The restaurant's food quality and prices have been sources of contention, with some finding the portions and prices satisfactory, while others feel the food is overpriced for the amount and quality received. The service and atmosphere have been described as less than welcoming, but the location is convenient for some customers. The restaurant's chicken patty and mac n cheese have received mixed reviews, with some enjoying them and others finding them less satisfying. Despite these mixed reviews, the restaurant's curry chicken, brown stew chicken, and rice and peas have been praised by customers, and the coco bread has been described as "spot on." The restaurant is known for its authentic Jamaican flavors, and customers who have traveled to the island have appreciated the familiar tastes.

Everytime I come to Norfolk I must stop by food is always good and fresh

Very nice portion size. The plantain were perfect and the rice and peas were soft and nice with plenty of gravy. Curry chicken was delicious. Unfortunately people aren't buying local drinks, so they did not have any currently. I hope they find a way to bring back the sorrel juice or maybe add homemade ginger beer. The best food comes from the smallest places that are reasonably priced and they focus on the food. Very clean dining area.

I bought oxtail from here, I used to go here growing up, but something isn’t the same. I speak $25 worth of oxtail but it wasn’t filling. I miss when Maxine worked here, but still the best in the areas, hands down.
