“We ate here for lunch the other day and I got the blackened salmon sandwich special, it was so delicious!! It would be awesome if there was some type of shade covering outside on the deck, alot of people were requesting to sit outside but with no shade it deters. But besides that the food and the service was great!!“

“This place is amazing! It's always super fresh, like I've seen them bring the fish in straight from the market fresh. It's so good and you get so much food for what you pay. There aren't seats inside, at least there weren't last I went, so you have to take it home or eat in your car, but it's totally worth it.“

“The service was wonderful. Everyone was polite. It has been a while since I've been and wanted to go since I was in the area. They had one of the dishes that I would order in the the past. It wasn't spicy like the past and had a sweet flavor that wasn't present before. The food wasn't bad though. The spring rolls and the ginger sauce they serve with it is good.“

“My hubby & I were out on a date, and we decided to eat here for dinner. The food was fantastic!! I had BEEF SIRLOIN AU POIVRE 12OZ & my hubby had MAINE STUFFED LOBSTER TAIL. Our waiter Jay was absolutely amazing. He helped us end our night with some delicious CANNOLI CHEESECAKE!!! We highly recommend Admiral’s!!“
“The Large Brothers have their own take out Restaurant on High St. in Portsmouth directly across the street from Bon Secours (Maryview). This is home-cooked food with that Mabry twang to it. When you taste this down home flavor you will be hooked along with the rest of us! Come on down!?“

“I've come to understand that crown is different wherever you go... the fried gizzards had great flavor, but texture wasn't right... the chicken was meh the chicken needed the gizzards flavor... and the kingdom were small... the guy working the counter acted like I was interrupting his day cause my order was going up and up... bit I would think you want people to order a lot... but guess not“

“Went last night for my sisters birthday dinner. We arrived with more people in our party then we booked for and they were still super accommodating. My niece and I did the 2 for 60 deal, she got the lamb and I got the chicken. The food was amazing!! I wish I could remember our servers name, because he made the experience that much better! He was funny and made sure our whole party was well taken care of. There were 10 of us in total and he handled us all like a champ! 10/10 !“

“We were in the area for a conference. We stopped in for dinner and drinks. They were out of Bloody Mary ingredients which is my drink. I tried the Watermelon Mojito it was very refreshing. Hush Puppies and Wings were tasty. The sandwich was huge. You will not leave hungry. Excellent service by the bartenders. If in the area again we will visit.“
