“We had the warm shrimp and lobster rolls and they were absolutely amazing!!! We specifically searched for lobster rolls and were so happy to find this place located inside the Farm Fresh grocery store. Michelle and her son made them fresh for us as well as talked with us and made us feel so welcome.“
“The Large Brothers have their own take out Restaurant on High St. in Portsmouth directly across the street from Bon Secours (Maryview). This is home-cooked food with that Mabry twang to it. When you taste this down home flavor you will be hooked along with the rest of us! Come on down!?“
“OMG! Best fried chicken livers in this area! They were fried to perfection and the seasoning was superb! Top them off with awesome coleslaw and melt in your mouth hushpuppies! The portions were huge and I will have to make two meals out of them which is wonderful! I had the awesome banana pudding and my boyfriend had the bread pudding. Both were sooooooo good! The service was friendly and speedy! Billy D's will be a regular for us! We can hardly wait to try some of his other food! (Sweet potato jack next time!) Trust me, you will not be disappointed!“
“The portions were so large, and the drinks were filled to the rim. The food was served quickly and was hot. The only thing is that they automatically add gratuity to the check. However, they do inform u when u are seated. We sat outside, and the view was spectacular. Definitely recommend a visit here, especially if u like seafood.“
“These folks sling food so hard and fast and still manage to be friendly and kind. Even offering a little entertainment for those waiting for service... (Joking amongst themselves... Onlookers were kept in a happy state no matter the wait time ) also they have the most amazing looking cakes on the counter for sale too! “Celebrated a early birthday here yesterday and the experience and staff 100/100 would highly recommend food was amazing down to the security at the door very polite and welcoming and the space is beautiful got a customer for life loved every bit of it I forgot my servers name but she was amazing sweet and good energy .. you want to celebrate something go here“
“Been here twice since my husband discovered it and its so far been hidden treasure if you like seafood thats affordable and well prepared. You can buy both cooked and raw that you can prepare yourself at home here. Lots of options to choose from and they have awesome hush puppies and potato salad.“

These places just don't exist anymore.The early bird special was mind blowing as for the amount of food for the price.I had the fried flounder, broccoli and baked potato. Everything was perfect. “Hole in the wall restaurant with good food!Sketchy looking as you come up to it, but those are usually the best, So i decided to try it, and i was not disappointed.They were friendly and had a pretty decent selection to choose from.I got- Catfish- Whiting- Popcorn chicken (kids)- deviled crabMac and cheese not like how I'm used to it, but other than that Everything else was good for what it was.Bonus: they even sell fresh fish there ?“
“We celebrated my wife's birthday and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious and Jasheem provided excellent customer service and some outstanding meal choices. Our only complaint is we wish we could have been seated closer to the live jazz band which was excellent.“
“The food was really good and the bartender was very nice and helpful. The place is very chilled and laid back. Here you can eat, play pool, gambling machines, drink and watch games. Here people come to socialize and just have a good time. They play good music from a music jukebox. I was disappointed because, I spent forty-five dollars on the music jukebox to pick and play great songs for the entire evening. The customers loved the music list I was picking and playing from the music jukebox. The music jukebox stop playing the music, you couldn't hear the music in the speakers surrounding the place. The nice bartender tried to help and fix the problem but she started to get slammed at the bar with lots of people.“
“The food is amazing, the fish my husband love and omg the shrimp dinners are filled with large jumbo shrimp and two sides of your liking. Food seasoned to the tee. Every chance my husband gets he’s always heading to P town to Old Bay Seafood to get our Saturday dinner, he just spoke of it this week. It’s amazing head over and please your appetite and spend a little for a lot….. Excellent service and cooks, love this place…..“
“If you come away hungry after eating the fish tacos here that's your own fault. They're nicely prepared with the avocado slices and come with a basket of fries. Not a small one either, I ate maybe a 5th of it. The hush puppies are well done with the drawn butter, would highly recommend trying them.“
“This is the only place we will eat Thai food at. No other Bangkok Garden is like it. The food is superb and during lunch, they serve a tasty side salad and spring roll with duck sauce. You can never go wrong with their chicken fried rice or their curries ?“
