“Food - amazing. Atmosphere- excellent. Service - Our waiter’s name was Chris. He was awesome; kind, very very helpful. Never encountered a waiter like him. He served approximately 16 people in our party. He should be considered an asset to your establishment. Excellent service is important when choosing a restaurant. Those persons who were there for the first time I am sure will be back. Thanks Chris.“
“What an awesome, cozy, little restaurant in Rescue, VA. The staff were inviting as we walked in and our server was knowledgeable of the menu. This was our first time here and we brought our twin God Daughters with us. The food was amazing! We had the crab dip which unlike most places, had more than enough dip to go with the pita slices. The calamari was also delicious. Both apps were well seasoned. I had the Admirals Feast for my main and she had the Captains. The coleslaw could have used more dressing but that's my only gripe with the meal. The twins had the Key Lime pie and Brownie Sundae for dessert. The whole experience was just great and well worth the 20 minute drive. Will be returning here again in the future! This place is a hidden gem.“
“First time visiting Si Senor in Carrolton! We were very impressed. The service was very fast, and our waiters were attentive and friendly. I had the taco salad which is a great choice for lunch if you want a healthier option; they don't skimp on veggies. Everything was so fresh! But the most important part...they do NOT play with their margaritas. They are delicious and perfectly strong. Fantastic happy hour! Definitely give this place a try if you want amazing margaritas and a quick Mexican lunch. Authentic and warm decor and music too!“
“Really enjoyed my visit to Harpoon Larry's on my recent trip to the area. The food was delicious, the prices good and our waiter was excellent: professional, friendly, helpful with items and efficient. Amazing how good staff can enhance a meal. I had the Mahi tacos and they had just the right amount of spice and were made very well. Good selection of beers on tap too. Prices were appropriate for the food and drinks. Only issue was limited parking when I arrived as I had to wait for a spot to open while in the car. I would go back no questions.“
“Amazing place for seafood lovers!! We both got platters with 4 options and everything was amazing. I got the fried stuff (flounder, shrimp, scallops, clams, calamari), very lightly battered, fried perfectly and juicy. The grilled stuff (flounder, oysters, shrimp, crab cake also) was also juicy and perfectly cooked. Fries, okra, sweet potato fries were delicious as well.Small snafu with my order was taken care of very quickly and with a smile. This was a dinner worth every penny and when I am back in the area I will be back for more!“
“Staff was amazing and friendly. Sadly no draft beer, just bottles. But extremely clean and quick. Food was amazing. Love the bibs you get to keep. Place was extremely clean, just a bit crowded. Overall was a great experienceParking: Mainly park in garage, but if lucky get street parkingKid-friendliness: Little ones loved getting messy eating!“
“First time for my husband and I, all I have to say it was a wonderful experience. Nicole, our server was beyond kind and helpful. She recommended great options for wine and steaks combinations and ended having a great night! Would love to come again with friends!“
“I have tried nearly every Mexican restaurant in the area, in hopes of finding a good, crunchy Chimichanga ... this place is the winner for best Chimichanga! I also love the Tomatillo sauce for dipping ... fantastic! However, having said that my last experience was not so pleasant. Our server was not attentive at all .... AGAIN!. And were not offered free refills after returning with our checks. We were not even asked how the food was. The place was not crowded, so this should not have been an issue. I'm very disappointed in the customer service.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian offerings!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is convenient and maneuverability is good.“
“La Fiesta is my new "go to" for Mexican Food. I had the aroze con camarone and a tamale but all the dishes I saw looked wonderful! The top shelf margarita was great as well. The staff were attentive and very welcoming. I can't wait to go back! Thank you for a great experience!“
“I had the pleasure of dining at Fins earlier this month on a lunch trip to Newport News, VA. It was my first time in this area, and I was very pleased with the inside and outside atmosphere of the restaurant. The colors, utensils, food, service, etc. were all top notch. Our server, Kameron, was attentive and brought out delicious flavors for us to try. As a long-time vegetarian, I broke my diet for this restaurant and do NOT regret it. I highly recommend the firecracker shrimp starter and their seafood pasta. The kitchen offered to make the dishes vegetarian for me, which was very nice given it is an upscale seafood restaurant. I suggest everyone tries Fins! Five stars.“
“This my first time rating anythingThe egusi ????. I mean off the chain had the whole fish with goat meat I will definitely say in my top three in the 20 years of African food in the USA. And definitely 1 of all with the whole fish in the egusi and wasn't stingy with the meat ..“
“Must try seafood restaurant. Consistently good food and cocktails. Fresh, local seafood that is well seasoned. Competitive pricing. Laid back marina with upscale tastings. 360 views and little gift shops surrounding the restaurant to walk off them calories ?. --- I have not stayed at the hotel, but if it's anything like the rest of the property, you will feel right at home with a friendly staff and a calming atmosphere. I 10/10 recommend Smithfield Station Restaurant and Accommodations.“
“My food was delicious and plentiful. The only issue is as most reviews suggest the lady at the counter is definitely sassy or indeed rude. Interpretation depends on you. I thought she was sassy. She's there by herself taking orders and cooking. Be prepared to wait and BRING CASH!“
“I am so grateful that this Piccadilly's is still open! Great variety of food selections. Everyone who works there always delivers great service with a smile. I truly Love the spoon bread. The recipe has stayed the same for years. Thank you so much!“
“Weekend hours:10am-2am Weekday hours: 11am-2amFood was phenomenal! I had the peanut butter french toast, hubs had the texas brisket omelet & my guest had chocolate chip pancakes- p.s. all the dishes were HUGE portions and priced right. Service was great. Small dine-in area, maybe a dozen tables. When the weather is warmer it looks like the outdoor area would be nice too.“
“I can not say BOLDLY ENOUGH that this place is so AWESOME! The good is EXCELLENT!!! If you are getting for several people, get the Family Deal, you'll thank me later!!!Kid-friendliness: More of a to go place but can certainly bring your Littles, even the unruly ones!!!“
“This Captain Ds is always fresh and piping hot when you get it. The kid's meals are six bucks flat, which is absolutely reasonable. The staff is excellent and always friendlyDon't order the soup or baked potato. For some reason, those items have been repeatedly bad“
“We had a skrimp po boy which tasted fantastic with a nice kick plus a side of hushpuppies which were also great; we ordered everything as takeout and sadly by the time we got home the po boy was all but disintegrated however that did not take away from the quality at all, the portion of shrimp was pretty generous. We tried the gizzards too which seemed to be a new menu addition and while the portion was also decent they were not as good, fine but not great but then again it is a seafood place and not a chicken place mainly. The prices are alright and theres a lot of sitting space inside.“
“Mom and I arrived thinking there were no tables because the super-dark parking lot appeared to be full but we found a two top table near the kitchen. It had been a few years since we had been here, always forgetting Fatboys is here because it’s not visible from the street.Mom got the Cod fish which was excellent and so was the coleslaw (she gave me a taste) while I had the FB Cheeseburger. Her order of fries was much larger than mine so she shared some with me. The burger was very juicy and cooked exactly as ordered, though I felt the beef and the fries lacked seasoning. For dessert we had the apple pie and chocolate cake, which were wonderful. We found out from the bill that Ashley was the name of our server (never said her name but very attentive)Definitely one of the best kept secrets of Isle of Wight.“
