The Seafood Shack is a popular destination for seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant serves perfectly cooked seafood dishes, including oysters with crunchy breading, shrimp and catfish po' boy, and platters with a variety of options like flounder, scallops, and crab cake. The staff is friendly, and the food is hot, well-seasoned, and plentiful. With delicious sides like collard greens, mac and cheese, and sweet potato fries, this restaurant is a must-visit.
Customers have praised the cleanliness of the establishment and the friendly service. The flounder and shrimp are particularly delicious, though the scallops may need some additional seasoning. The macaroni and cheese has been described as slightly overcooked, and the tartar sauce could use some improvement. However, the cocktail sauce has been well-received.
Customers have also highlighted the warm, welcoming atmosphere, with one reviewer describing it as feeling "like home." The food is consistently fresh and reasonably priced, and the owners and employees are known for their excellent customer service. Dishes are brought out quickly, and the restaurant offers the option to dine in, take out, or have food delivered.
