26 Best Sandwich Shops in Chesapeake

“So glad you’re open. My whole family enjoyed our meals and every type of chicken salad was tasty. We will definitely be dining here often after sports practices nearby. Quick, easy dining option for us to eat on the go. One of our family members has food allergies and we could easily look at your online guide and safely order. See you again soon.“

“I went to Mr. Jim's because this is what my mom wanted to eat after she decided not to have dialysis anymore. We live in Virginia Beach, and I drove here to get her the Italian sub that she remembered and loved. I asked for the manager to tell her how much she loved Mr. Jim's and wanted an Italian sub only from here. Thank you for being her favorite place to get a sub and even after she is no longer with us I will continue to come to Mr Jim's in her honor. From a daughter who will miss her mom and from a new lifelong customer.“

“I met a friend for lunch here a couple of weeks ago. Got my favorite sandwich, of course. The Inlet had a different name 25 years ago when I first ordered it…and is still delicious! (Can’t beat some good tomato, basil, and fresh mozzarella—it is better than turkey even. ☺) Good company and good food; thank you!“

“We ordered a sandwich platter and chips for our in-office quarter-end catch-up day. We placed the order this morning, and it was ready for pickup at the new Hilltop location by 12:30 PM. Great service and delicious sandwiches.“

“Placed an order over the phone for 3 sandwiches. Everything was done right as I walked in and all of our sandwiches were accurate and delicious. The employees were also very friendly.

Would definitely recommend and we will be back!“

“Super chill staff, place was clean. Only bad thing was on the app I paid for 50 percent more protein and I didn’t get that, or if I did get it, then sadly subway charges 1.50 for two extra strips. Also wasn’t toasted, like come on now, it’s a simple button push man. Staff was great everything tasted fine but, a little bummed subway seems to charge more for nothing.“

“I like going to this Subway. I usually order the Turkey Wrap. Never had a bad wrap from this Subway. The employees are very friendly and the store is clean. I will keep ordering from this Subway.

Parking: Very large parking lot that is shared with Food Lion“

“I had my my friends sub name labeled as 'Dwight from the office' and Jimmy John's did not disappoint, not only did they label it Dwight, but drew a frickin beet on it too! Hilarious! Thanks guys“

“Stopped in for a #11 Country Club and they delivered exactly what Jimmy John’s promises - freaky fast service and solid quality. Sandwich was fresh, well-made, and ready in no time. Cedar Rd location runs tight - efficient crew, clean space, consistent execution. When you need a quick lunch that actually tastes good, this spot gets it done. Will be back.“

“They are definitely getting five stars from me. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly welcome. As I was getting my food made it went very quickly and all the stuff in the display case looks so fresh and well presented. Keep up the good work. I definitely will make the effort to come another time to this location just based on how well they served me here. It has been a while since I have been to a subway, and now I not only will enjoy having the sub but the experience of meeting the people who put it together for me. Thank you all.“

“Thank you to your entire team for making these delicious subs for our Frontline healthcare providers!!!! So Many selections to make people happy. Everyone had something delicious from the veggie to tuna to turkey and roast beef. Care4frontline and our donor look forward to a monthly purchase!!!“

“I got here after trying to order at another location, however my order didn’t go through in the app. I’m glad we ended up going to this location because the food was fresh and there was no wait. Fast friendly service. Highly recommend this location.“

“I usually order in advance on the app; my food is always ready on time and the order is accurate. Special thanks to the two young men working Friday night (2/11). My sandwiches were neat and obviously made with care; even labeled on the outside, which isn’t always the case.“

“I like Charleys, but my kids love the chicken california from this Charleys a lot. Also the taste testers didn't have to keep goving them one after the other, but they were super kind and I appreciate that. We bought two sanwiches just because of the customer service. The other was a buffalo chicken and it was delicious as well.“

“ivve been comin to jersey mikes for about four years n i gotta to say that this one has been the best one ive ever been to. Staff greeted me as soon as i walked into the building, all smiles n good vibes. Lobby was super clean n it smelled so good. Lalia was very sweet n even asked me if everything was good after i finished eating, n of course it was, that Italian slapped harder than my daddy. Guy who was working even held the door for a old couple leaving the building. U just don’t see that anymore. Keep up the great work i will be back!!!!!!“

“Nice customer service and great timing“

“Always Good & Fresh Along With Outstanding Friendly Employees.. And Can’t Beat 2 Full Subs For Only $13.99 Yum 😋“

“Really impressed with this Subway! The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the whole experience great.

The dining room is wide open, clean, and fully remodeled, giving the restaurant a fresh and modern feel. I also tried the new Hot Honey Signature Spicy Collection with Doritos Nachos, and it was surprisingly good — lots of flavor and a great value for the price.

The $6.99 Meal of the Day is another great deal, especially when you’re looking for a quick, filling meal without spending a lot. Between the friendly service, remodeled restaurant, and new menu offerings, this location is definitely worth checking out!“

“Walked in, the place was super clean. I as greeted as soon as I walked in (these little things matter to me). The worker was very polite and attentive. My sandwich was very good. I'll be sure to visit anytime I want a sub. Thank you for a great experience .“

“The cashier, Shawn Smith was so pleasant from the moment we walked in, she seemed happy to serve the customers and made sure we had the best quality/order. I normally do not write reviews but had to write one for her because her customer service is 10 out of 10!“

“We ordered a very large catering order from this store, and I am highly impressed! The service was friendly, happy, accurate, and timely. The group loved the food, and appreciated how fresh and tasty it was. Kudos to this Subway store for being awesome!!! We will call directly to this store in the future for catering orders or stop by for a quick bite.“

“Pros: great food!
Cons: can be an uncomfortable wait in the sun, especially when it's busy. Though what can you expect from a storefront subshop on a trailer. You can order and wait in your car also.
Summary: worth it!“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch and a bathroom break for me and my kids. The bathroom was clean, which I think anyone can appreciate. We were the only ones there so there was no waiting. They were really patient with my kids! I gave the food a lower score because when we grabbed drinks, only fountain were available as there was no brewed teas or coffee available.“

“Love their philly steak sub. Staff very friendly!“

“Friendly, professional staff. Clean kitchen, sandwich prep areas. fresh ingredients. HIGHLY recommend this Subway! The staff member patiently assembled our sandwiches, as if she was making her own sandwich. After you shop, stop by and treat yourself.“
