“I know this place has a iconic status in OBX, and maybe today was an off day, but I found their biscuit kind of plain, not flaky or buttery, and the chicken is either out of a frozen bag, or they use a pretty flavorless batter coating. I mean it’s ok, it’s just not great. I prefer Chick fil A biscuits honestly, where I’m usually picking the crumbs out of the wrapper. Didn’t feel the desire to do that at all with these biscuits.

“I’ve been to the Jersey Mike’s in Nags Head quite a few times, and it’s always a solid stop. The staff is consistently friendly and you can tell they work hard to keep things moving, even when it’s busy.

The location is super convenient, which makes it easy to swing by whether you’re heading to the beach or just out and about around town. Always a reliable choice when I want something quick and good.“

“I had the best veggie Subway sub I have ever had while visiting Nags Head. I regularly have a Subway veggie sub three times a month at my favorite place and local shop, while very good, can't compare. The young woman who prepared it was very polite, smiling and friendly and piled on a volume of each of my vegetables. The sandwich was so thick I couldn't finish the whole 12-inch sub in one sitting which is a rarity. Everything was fresh and the bread was perfect. We go to OBX every year and I know where I'll be getting my lunch!“

“I stop by here quite frequently and I can confidently say this is one of the nicest and cleanest subways I've ever been to. Staff is incredibly friendly and professional, and my sandwich is always made perfectly. The bread always tastes fresh, and im always impressed by how nice the veggies look! Plus they slice most of the meat in house as well!Its amazing how they can continue to run this store so exceptionally while being extremely short staffed! I swear I see the same to girls work all day and night, it almost seems like theyre the only employees there! But despite that they are always so friendly and quick! Excellent job ladies, keep up the good work!!“

Jae was the Bee's Knee's he was super informative on the sammiches & which were his favorite & was super understanding when I changed/added to my sammich mid order. This is one of the last places you can get a full lunch at an affordable price if you are watching your spending.
