“Definitely coming back! Food came out hot and delicious! I definitely recommend the fries. Just be warned that the smash burger comes with two patties. Everything was very filling, so smaller meal sizes are better! If you’re in outer banks, definitely try it!

“I am local & eat here at least once a week.Food is incredible, and so fresh. Store is always clean and neat. I HIGHLY recommend it especially if you eat OMAD! Great consistent portions. The staff and service is AMAZING and so fast!!! Also shout out to the staff they make me feel like a movie star. (No idea how they remember my order when there are so many possible combinations!!!!Thinking about stopping by for the 3rd time this week.... My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!!!!! ?As a local I would love to see some sort of loyalty program to reward frequent flyers like me.Would also love if there is a reusable bowl program. “This restaurant saved our vacation! The wife and I were looking for great food and this was the place. It was a bit of a wait but a nice bar outside on the dock overlooking the water and live music while you wait. Food was so good and staff were friendly and speedy.”

“Lost Colony Brewery is a fantastic place to stop by, grab a few beers, sit outside and enjoy the scenery. The Charron Stout, Nut Brown Ale and Scotch Ale are amazing. Dirt, your friendly neighborhood bartender and circus act is such a wonderful guy. He made everyone feel welcome and happy. Grab a few beers, they are very good! Walk into the pizza joint next door for a huge slice of pizza (I'm not kidding when I say they are huge). What an excellent experience.”

“OH MY GOSH! The best cupcakes and deserts I have ever had in my life. I had cupcakes, cake pops and chocolate covered pretzels for my baby shower, and everything came out PERFECT and exactly what I wanted. Great customer service and easy going! Will be using them again and I highly recommend!”

“Best beach coffee I’ve ever had in my 15 years of getting countless coffees at the beach. Most the time the coffee has a bitter taste or covered up with sugar. Coffee here was the most beautiful blend of different notes and you can taste each one. We got the Crème Brûlée and Southswell (hopefully the second is spelled correctly). Cannot recommend this place enough. I’m a coffee sipper and I drank mine in literally under 5 minutes.”

“My husband and I have been getting ice cream here for the past week! The vibe and atmosphere are absolutely amazing, the perfect spot to come to after a long day at the beach. Our server, John, has been super helpful and patient even when it’s been busy. Our favorite flavors have been the strawberry cheesecake and little blue panda ?”

“Out of all the great places my husband and I visited, this place was a must go to! We visited this place for their amazing shave ice TWICE. It would have been three times, but their customer lines can be very long. Can you blame them?!? The shave ice, no matter the flavor, captures the juice liquid so well, it melts in your mouth and is not overbearing. You don't even get brainfreeze! The ice is truly shaved. Not chunky or snowballed at all. Two thumbs up! We will visit this place AGAIN and AGAIN next year.”

“Ice cream was great, location was great, service great. Only issue is the spoon provided was incredibly flaccid which made eating the ice cream very challenging. The spoon kept bending with each dig. Maybe I should have sprung for the home made waffle cone. Overall I will come back for some delicious booty treats, probably with my own spoon.

Parking: Delicious booty treats right near the ocean. No wonder why there’s pirates round here.”

“For a party of 8 adults, We were seated immediately. The chips and salsa were provided and we were given more when we asked. Guac was so good and esquites as well. For only 2 people working, our food was brought out in a timely manner and everyone was happy with their dinners. The place was full by the time we left. We will definitely come again the next time we are in town.”

“Our family discovered Coastal Creamery this vacation and will now be a regular stop every vacation in OBX. We went to Costal Creamery more than we went anywhere else. We tried to go to our normal ice-cream shop just once. The kids were not having it. So we left and went to Costal Creamery. Their ice-cream is the best! Plus the service was excellent.”

“Was a little iffy coming here based on reviews but this placed exceeded all expectations. We ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni, garlic cheese breadsticks and a dozen buffalo wing plus drinks. We sat in one of the booths with a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids to eat in. All for like 50 bucks! There’s no table service but you can get your food and eat there or take out, they do have plates and silverware. The young man running the front was very friendly! The food was ready rapidly and everything was hot and fresh. I do not know where people got that it was frozen and reheated. This was absolutely great pizza and wings! Well done! I didn’t get a chance to take pictures before we dug in but it was really good. The pizza was a little bit thin crust which we prefer and the wings had this crispness to them that most places don’t get right. Plus the garlic cheese bread was amazing! This place will be our new pizza spot everytime we come to obx!”

“We only had breakfast, but several times. They have the absolute best fried potatoes!! Pancakes are very good along with their biscuits. Only complaint would be that they only serve bottle water.

We rolled in with a 10 person group and they made it work! Table service was QUICK on the drink orders. Very important. So if you’re looking for simple food and your group can’t make up its mind the menu has plenty of fried seafood, pizza, and sandwich/burger options. The boardwalk fries were awesome.”

“Owens is fantastic! I've recently had brunch at Owens, twice to be honest and it's great! The atmosphere is beautiful inside with a dark, rich wood interior and white table cloths. Nautical artwork and antiques are on display which fits the beachfront area of Nags Head, NC. The food was great with a friendly staff serving as well. I had French toast! Highly recommended and the waffles were excellent as well. I appreciate the quiet settings and Owens was just that. Nice, calm and inviting!

“It has been many years since I have been to Red Drum and I really enjoyed myself. My food was amazing and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his steamed seafood! We went in the summer and usually there is an hour or more waiting to be seated in a restaurant on the OBX and we were able to sit immediately as a group of 2.”

“Promptly seated with a great view of water. We ordered a seafood steamer platter (crab legs, clams, mussels, corn, sausage) and it was excellent. Mixed drinks are amazing with plenty of options. Kids menu was popular with the kids.
Our server was amazing and offered suggestions and insights into what to order. Parking was easy and prices were a fair value

“We have eaten at Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe for many, many years. Tonight we had the pleasure of being one of the first customers at the opening for the 2024 season. The hostess that greated us was friendly and most attentive. After being seated, the waitress by the name of Maggie D. greeted us. Her warm smile and friendly attitude made us feel quite welcome. During the entire meal experience, Maggie D. was most attentive to our every need. Not only did we have a delicious meal, we had a first class waitress experience. Basnight's Lone Cedar food is top notch and they should be very proud to have someone like Maggie D. represent their fine restaurant.”

“Only reason this was a 4* was the flies. There shouldn't be flies in a restaurant. If you can get past that, the food was very good. We eat at Mexican restaurants all the time and this was definitely up there. I had the Chorizo con Huevos and my wife had the beef enchilada. That's my go to and it didn't disappoint. Very good and beans were not bad at all. Rice was ok, but I like my rice with just rice. No vegis. Ate leftovers the next couple days and was still good. Would definitely go again and recommend as well.”
