I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly...read full review
Worth the trip!
Can't give it anything but 5 stars. Great ice cream and waffle cones that bring back some 90s cereal nostalgia for me... Golden Grahams-esque?

Fatboyz Ice Cream & Sweet Treats is a popular spot for sweet treats, known for its delicious waffle cones that pair well with any ice cream or soft serve flavor. The soft serve is solid, and the lively atmosphere features great music, although it can be loud. Seating is limited, but orders are quick, and the staff is honest about pre-packaged items. The ice cream remains a highlight, with favorites like the PB Jammer Flurry offering big portions. Many appreciate the friendly and professional service from the staff, often made up of teenagers.
Fatboyz used to offer crab cake sandwiches, but they are now fully focused on ice cream and sweet treats. Customers can add fruit to their milkshakes, and the Chocolate Brownie Extreme ice cream is rich with just enough brownies. The staff, including a friendly blonde and brunette, are quick to recreate customers' desired ice cream cones. While the wait can be a bit long, it is worth it for the delicious ice cream. The restaurant has a ramp for wheelchairs and strollers, as well as booth and table seating options, and even Connect Four games to play.
