Then you go through a self serve area of toppings, including fruit, candy bars, brownie cubes, sprinkles, nuts, and sauces. Your order is weighed to determine the price. If you notice there are dollar bills and coins everywhere. The owners collect it all at the end of the year and donate for autism. Great business!“

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆“

“I got hooked on açaí bowls this summer and was delighted to find two locations at OBX! Tried both locations and had a bowl every day we were there on our 3 day trip. Service is friendly, fast and accurate. My family and I had açaí bowls, smoothies and ice Cream between us and everything was delicious. It was a nice, cool place to hang out and enjoy our treats and it was so cool to see local art displayed for purchase. Will definitely be back again.“

It's the first stop when we roll into town on vacation! So much love and good food from this shop! Perfectly situated on the Beach Road...don't let the small business fool ya!! “For years now we have been going to this Booty Treats location. This year we were pleasantly surprised to see a renovation inside which was nicer for the customers. It does get a bit loud and Costco-style busy but worth it. We always enjoy sitting out back at the picnic tables or ample rail seats around the grassy area. Recommend giving it a try.“

There are 2 locations, the other location is a bit larger and has a merch shop.

“I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat customers at the restaurant. Very disappointed.“

“I have been vacationing here in Nags Head for the past 9 years. We LOVE the Outer Banks area. So laid back and relaxing. My husband & I actually own 6 weeks in a villa from Mid February to End of March to escape the Winter snow of upstate NY. One of my MUST VISITS is this Sugar Planet! I love the variety of candies that you can mix by the scoop fulls of my favorites. They also have nostalgic candies and some I’ve never even heard of before. Don’t be fooled by the name 'Sugar Planet'. Clothing, mugs, jewelry, hats, etc. It could almost be your one stop shop for all souvenirs! I’ve been in here 3 times alone in the past two weeks! Michelle was extremely helpful as I was looking for something special to take back for my daughter-in-laws. Together we found the ‘perfect’ items! Thank you Michelle. Today there was a young man training at the checkout, Carlos, was very kind and polite. I do love this Southern Hospitality!“
