“Food was fresh and amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was insane. I really appreciate it when the ratio of toppings to burger is perfect. My son had the fried shrimp bowl and by husband had the dolphin sub - both were devoured. We tried the cajun mayo and the cocktail sauce and they were excellent. They were super friendly and our order was absolutely perfect. This is a must try if you are in the area. We will 100% be back!“
“We visited at 8:30pm on a Saturday evening. They were out of ingredients for milkshakes. They serve Blue Bunny brand ice cream. I had 1 scoop of their "Subpuni" combo - chocolate, Pistachio, and cherry. It was delicious and their 1 scoop portion was filling!! The staff was very friendly. Location is perfectly placed at the entrance/exit of the beach access. While we were eating our ice cream they turned off their "Open" sign at 8:45pm when it's advertised they are open until 9pm. This place appears to be a very small, locally owned business and open/closes periodically so it can be a hit or miss when trying to put it in your plans so I recommend if you see it open, get a scoop of ice cream it's worth it!“
“This was conveniently located where it was close to the water. Besides homemade ice cream, they also had fudge along with a bunch of different candies. The service was appreciated as the line moved quickly. I went with a cup of banana and Reese's pieces. The scoops were very generous. Both of these flavors were very "heavy" and fulfilling which is what I like to see in homemade ice cream. The banana was tasty and what one would expect. I just did not like the several pieces of ice I had. The Reese's pieces was good as well with plenty of little peanut butter pieces that satisfied me. I also tried peanut butter cups and fudge. This was my favorite one. I thought the cups would be too big, but they just melted right into the ice cream which did not require a lot of chewing. It was really good.Will I go back? I would.“

“If you are visiting OBX - swing by Surfin' Spoon. Staff are friendly and the decor is modern chic (Cali vibe). I love the money you see all around the establishment...place a quarter or dollar and it will be donated to Surfin' for Autism :) They have seating indoor, outdoor and a few parking spaces. They have their homemade sammie's (ice scream sandwiches/vegan and non vegan). Their self serve yogurt/custard are delicious and they have a good selections of toppings. They are really organized with line management (so it won't get too crazy) but you will be waiting - well worth it.“

“So delicious!! I want to try every flavor here! I got a cookie monster in a waffle cone. The ice cream is made with 14% heavy cream so if you have a sensitive stomach, do be cautious. They do have other options as well. I love their theme and can't wait to come back again soon and try an ice cream panini!“
“Hands down our favorite shop in OBX and absolute favorite place to get Açaí. Our family has a tradition of getting açaí wherever we go, no matter where we travel we look for the best açaí place. We cannot even begin to explain how much we love the açaí here. We went every day 3 days in a row and have yet to find a better açaí place. Shop is so super cute like a posh boutique and the owners are so friendly and you feel like you're going into a shop where like Cheers "everybody knows your name". And we can't forget the soft serve and waffle cone. Something for everyone. We will find vacation homes in Obx based on the proximity of it to this shop! Not to mention their packaging which screamed quality and attention to detail. Everyone was so nice especially considering we were a group of 13 and with all our order and specs for each they were so accommodating. We could go on and on but really it's meant to be experienced for oneself!“

“Very cool ice cream shop! Clean and well lit.sadly it was not very busy but I sure hope they survive since they are not in a very central location. My son really enjoyed his ice cream here and she served a nice scoop for him. The girl behind the register was very, very friendly... yeah highly recommend.“
