“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!“

The drive-thru line was moving really fast, and the worker who took my order was incredibly upbeat and friendly. I ordered a medium soft-serve ice cream treat blended with crushed chocolate candies, and it was served to me perfectly thick and frozen. The vanilla soft-serve is always so smooth and creamy, and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings mixed inside. “Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. Average order $8.20.“

“Great and easy stop for ice cream in Manteo. If you're looking for ice cream but dont want to look for parking this is the place. The guy running it was super nice and the ice cream was good. This is a no frills ice cream place so dont expect anything fancy but it is a hood place to stop on the way back from the aquarium“

“The best new place on the beach!“

“We arrived right when they opened at 10 and a line formed quickly which is always a good sign. The kids got one of the freshly made donuts and a milkshake. Both received high reviews from the kids and now they want to go back and try their ice cream and other donut flavors. So far this is the only ice cream spot that we found soft serve 🍦. We haven’t tried it yet but will be back to see how it is. Staff were super friendly and helpful.“

“Store and employees are great. Crumbl needs to step up now. Quit changing everything. It has gotten to the point where you have so many ingredients that the cookies are like everything bagels…..everything but the kitchen sink. Then when a cookie is rated good it never gets back in the queue again. Then you took away the milk chocolate chip cookie and the new chocolate chip cookie has a weird flavor. The original chocolate chip cookies were perfect!“

“I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat customers at the restaurant. Very disappointed.“

“I have been vacationing here in Nags Head for the past 9 years. We LOVE the Outer Banks area. So laid back and relaxing. My husband & I actually own 6 weeks in a villa from Mid February to End of March to escape the Winter snow of upstate NY. One of my MUST VISITS is this Sugar Planet! I love the variety of candies that you can mix by the scoop fulls of my favorites. They also have nostalgic candies and some I’ve never even heard of before. Don’t be fooled by the name 'Sugar Planet'. Clothing, mugs, jewelry, hats, etc. It could almost be your one stop shop for all souvenirs! I’ve been in here 3 times alone in the past two weeks! Michelle was extremely helpful as I was looking for something special to take back for my daughter-in-laws. Together we found the ‘perfect’ items! Thank you Michelle. Today there was a young man training at the checkout, Carlos, was very kind and polite. I do love this Southern Hospitality!“

While some of these reviews point out the ice cream isn’t inexpensive, you’re on the coast so I guess you can go to a chain if that bothers you. The cookie dough in particular had huge chunks and is probably the best I’ve had in a long time!“
