“Great ice cream, and I could tell it is homemade from the quality. While some of these reviews point out the ice cream isn’t inexpensive, you’re on the coast so I guess you can go to a chain if that bothers you. The cookie dough in particular had huge chunks and is probably the best I’ve had in a long time!“

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆“

“The best ice cream on the beach! It’s all homemade using the finest ingredients. The flavor combos the master chef creates will give you a treat that cannot be matched anywhere else. I try to get something different each visit but everything is so delicious it’s hard not to want a scoop of the flavors I already love plus try something new that I know I’ll enjoy just as much! This place is a 10 out of 10!!!“

“I got hooked on açaí bowls this summer and was delighted to find two locations at OBX! Tried both locations and had a bowl every day we were there on our 3 day trip. Service is friendly, fast and accurate. My family and I had açaí bowls, smoothies and ice Cream between us and everything was delicious. It was a nice, cool place to hang out and enjoy our treats and it was so cool to see local art displayed for purchase. Will definitely be back again.“

“The LOBSTER ROLL is the BEST!!! Ignore any comment about price or size....it is WORTH IT! So delicious and the roll compliments the flavors so well! It's the first stop when we roll into town on vacation! So much love and good food from this shop! Perfectly situated on the Beach Road...don't let the small business fool ya!! “For years now we have been going to this Booty Treats location. This year we were pleasantly surprised to see a renovation inside which was nicer for the customers. It does get a bit loud and Costco-style busy but worth it. We always enjoy sitting out back at the picnic tables or ample rail seats around the grassy area. Recommend giving it a try.“

“Had my first Booty Treat tonight, was amazing!! Definitely try the freeze - has both shaved ice and ice cream pieces! I enjoy the watermelon shaved ice, the other avors are so amazing.
There are 2 locations, the other location is a bit larger and has a merch shop.
Go for the cold sweet treat after dinner.“

“Best ice cream I’ve ever had! Wish we could take it all home! ❤️ While here we tried Choco Loco (if you love chocolate this is the one for you), Banana Pudding (delicious), peach (incredible!), Coco Loco (so good!). Everything is made fresh - and they are so welcoming! Highly recommend.“

“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!“

“Came here for vacation n wanted to stop n see how good the ice cream was I got the Carolina peach n blueberry burst flavors they were some the best flavors especially the blueberry it was probably the best blueberry ice cream I’ve ever had I got em in a waffle cone n it was freshly made really great 10/10 would love to go back!!!“

“We look forward to the Shrimp Scampi pizza every time we come to Nags Head and it's gone quick. I did have time to snap a pic of the cheese bread which is also delicious and warm. Order online and go to their outside pickup window on the side of the building and ring the bell.“

“I’ve been coming to the Outer Banks for 30 years. I remember getting the best burger on the OBX at this restaurant. Apparently they have stopped serving food. That is not the issue. I called up to ask if they no longer serve burgers, and was told “this isn’t McDonald’s”. I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way from a worker of a restaurant I want to spend my money at. If they can’t train their staff to have better customer service, I cannot imagine how poorly they treat customers at the restaurant. Very disappointed.“

“I have been vacationing here in Nags Head for the past 9 years. We LOVE the Outer Banks area. So laid back and relaxing. My husband & I actually own 6 weeks in a villa from Mid February to End of March to escape the Winter snow of upstate NY. One of my MUST VISITS is this Sugar Planet! I love the variety of candies that you can mix by the scoop fulls of my favorites. They also have nostalgic candies and some I’ve never even heard of before. Don’t be fooled by the name 'Sugar Planet'. Clothing, mugs, jewelry, hats, etc. It could almost be your one stop shop for all souvenirs! I’ve been in here 3 times alone in the past two weeks! Michelle was extremely helpful as I was looking for something special to take back for my daughter-in-laws. Together we found the ‘perfect’ items! Thank you Michelle. Today there was a young man training at the checkout, Carlos, was very kind and polite. I do love this Southern Hospitality!“

“I pulled into this classic fast-food spot during my road trip because I was absolutely craving something sweet, and it completely hit the spot. The drive-thru line was moving really fast, and the worker who took my order was incredibly upbeat and friendly. I ordered a medium soft-serve ice cream treat blended with crushed chocolate candies, and it was served to me perfectly thick and frozen. The vanilla soft-serve is always so smooth and creamy, and they definitely did not skimp on the toppings mixed inside. It is a super reliable and nostalgic place to stop for a quick, delicious treat whenever you are traveling on a warm afternoon.“
