We booked them for both our rehearsal dinner and our brunch the morning after our wedding, and they exceeded expectations at both events. “Yummy! You go through a line of self serve ice cream (soft) in various flavors. Then you go through a self serve area of toppings, including fruit, candy bars, brownie cubes, sprinkles, nuts, and sauces. Your order is weighed to determine the price. If you notice there are dollar bills and coins everywhere. The owners collect it all at the end of the year and donate for autism. Great business!”

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.”

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆”

“South Beach Grill is a staple during our annual OBX vacation. We order from there 2-3 times during the week. They are fast, friendly, and ordering is easy online. Dinner for our group of 9 was ready for pick-up in less than 20 minutes. Everyone has tried multiple things from the menu and everyone was extremely pleased with everything they’ve tried. My favorites are the southwest wrap, burgers, and Buffalo chicken Philly. Their fries are delicious… especially with their fry sauce or BBQ ranch. South Beach Grill is a must have on your OBX vacation!”

“There is nothing like it! Dirt is famous for reasons you know as soon as you open the door to enter 😅 A local hangout for a reason with locals and travelers alike having their own mug on the ready for their return. The root beer was great too. You won't forget the experience and you'll be back!”

“I got hooked on açaí bowls this summer and was delighted to find two locations at OBX! Tried both locations and had a bowl every day we were there on our 3 day trip. Service is friendly, fast and accurate. My family and I had açaí bowls, smoothies and ice Cream between us and everything was delicious. It was a nice, cool place to hang out and enjoy our treats and it was so cool to see local art displayed for purchase. Will definitely be back again.”

“Tremendous on all accounts!… fantastic cocktails, delicious food, superior service, and an amazing view. I have never enjoyed waiting for a table more!…sitting outside under the gazebo on the deck that stretches into the sound, wonderful outside bar (try the Chocolate Martini!), and Yacht Rock over the speakers. We could have stayed out there all night and been content. However, I would be remiss if I didn’t say how great the food was inside, and the service was impeccable. (Richard was our waiter, and he is a GEM! Excellent service like he extended to our group is a lost art.) Can’t wait to see you again next year!”
