“I can't recommend Johanna and her staff enough! They catered our wedding at the Aquarium last weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Their staff is so friendly and the food is off the charts good. It was literally the highlight of the evening, everyone kept going on and on about the food!”

“We had a delightful time today at Landing Grill. The food was delicious and the service was superb! We had the shrimp salad plate, turkey Rueben and chicken parm sub. Everything was delicious, and the sides available were great, including sweet potato tots, fries, cucumber salad, Cole slaw and pasta salad. We cannot say enough good about it. “Nice place, lots of room, unlike anywhere else in the OBX. Limited bar but still surprisingly more choices than expected. The only real downside is the bar seating is very uncomfortable, not really inviting to stay long. If I could recommend anything it would be better seating and a footrest at the bar, but that's it.”

“OMG! was joking with the owner tonight while I was in to pick up our 1st pizza from here that we haven't found a great pizza in OBX. WELL NOW WE HAVE FOUND THE BEST! The crust was absolutely amazing! I am picky about sauces and this sauce was the best ever. Cannot recommend enough!”

“It was a very lovely place with a wonderful atmosphere. My reason for a 4 and not a 5 is probably personal preference. There weren't any easy to see menus for what was available before going in. I did go online and see what they had.Everyone was super nice and it seemed that there was a lot of regulars so it may just be the kind of place you make into a regular stop.I loved their little pick up cubby, but it was a touch difficult for someone with anxiety as a first time stop. But again, everyone was so nice. If it wasn't such a chill place I don't think I would have gotten far enough to put in an order.Definitely worth it, just maybe look up what you want first before heading in.”

“Kid-friendliness: I highly recommend Owens for dinner. The food was delicious with generous portions. My husband had the shrimp and grits, I had seafood pasta , and my daughter had the kids chicken fingers and fries. We added two side salads. Dinner came w rolls and hush puppies. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.the staff was soosweet, accommodating and supportive. The restaurant was beautiful and charming. We plan to go back again”

“The server made good recommendations for Peruvian dishes. We had the ceviche, the fried rice, and the tenderloin noodles. Everything tasted good, and our drinks were refilled quickly. Definitely worth trying if you are nearby.”

“Fried oyster plate hit the spot. Fries were slightly greasier than I like, but that’s my only gripe. Oysters were delicious. Slaw was KFC style, but less sweet and lighter on the dressing, which I found to be much preferable. Service was impressive with courtesy and timeliness. The bar area had nice decor and decently comfortable stools.”

The Peruvian ice pops are so good. The owners are sweetest people and make you feel like family. I look forward to tasting more treats they make. Manteo is very lucky to have this gem.”

“This is really like the bar at cheers.. everybody knows your name. you might walk in as a stranger but immediateky you are a friend. with a bartender named DIRT the place has to be fun. he was just named the best bartender on the beach....but after all that- how's the beer? great.. they just added a porter.. you know it is an Irish pub when you see over 120 mugs waiting for their owners to come in and get them filled with their favorite elixir.... skainte”

“We came here for a quick stop to grab some ice cream, but we ended up having two ice creams each, and order of fries, a burger and a pizza. The owner was so passionate about his food and it definitely shows, because EVERYTHING we ate was AMAZING.The fries were oven baked and were super crunchy.The PIZZA is a must try, all ingredients felt as fresh as they come.”

“Best beach coffee I’ve ever had in my 15 years of getting countless coffees at the beach. Most the time the coffee has a bitter taste or covered up with sugar. Coffee here was the most beautiful blend of different notes and you can taste each one. We got the Crème Brûlée and Southswell (hopefully the second is spelled correctly). Cannot recommend this place enough. I’m a coffee sipper and I drank mine in literally under 5 minutes.”
