“It was a very lovely place with a wonderful atmosphere. My reason for a 4 and not a 5 is probably personal preference. There weren't any easy to see menus for what was available before going in. I did go online and see what they had.Everyone was super nice and it seemed that there was a lot of regulars so it may just be the kind of place you make into a regular stop.I loved their little pick up cubby, but it was a touch difficult for someone with anxiety as a first time stop. But again, everyone was so nice. If it wasn't such a chill place I don't think I would have gotten far enough to put in an order.Definitely worth it, just maybe look up what you want first before heading in.“
“Best beach coffee I’ve ever had in my 15 years of getting countless coffees at the beach. Most the time the coffee has a bitter taste or covered up with sugar. Coffee here was the most beautiful blend of different notes and you can taste each one. We got the Crème Brûlée and Southswell (hopefully the second is spelled correctly). Cannot recommend this place enough. I’m a coffee sipper and I drank mine in literally under 5 minutes.“
“We have visited other Front Porch cafes before but this was our first time at this particular one. I believe this was our best experience at any of them. Not that the others were bad but the service here was outstanding and at least one of our drinks was truly exceptional.“
“The people who took our order, and served us our drinks and food were very friendly. My son loved the Chocolate Munchkins because they were fresh, soft and chocolatey. My wife enjoyed her Bacon Egg and Cheese on a Bagel. It was fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed the Creepy Spider Donut because I enjoyed both the Chocolate Munchkin in the donut hole, deliciously sweet but not too sweet orange and chocolate icing on a fresh and soft yeast donut. The Dark Midnight Roast Coffee was delicious, and helped balance out the sweetness of the donut.Parking: There are a limited amount of parking spaces in the small strip mall.“

“This is a local gem! I have only tried their coffee, no food. I've tried the red dawn with multiple different brews (high tide is my fave), white chocolate raspberry iced coffee, cappuccino, and south swell iced coffee. All of which were phenomenal! Service is great and fast. The shop is adorable with local art for sale. I live a bit far but have made an excuse to be on this side of the beach almost once a week for a special treat! Highly recommend!!“

“Extraordinary service, coffee, and food. We had the Zen bowls, muffin, and coffee/latte. You can tell the difference in the coffee since they roast it in house. It is far superior to any other coffee. The food was very fresh as well. Our pups also enjoyed some pup treats.“

“We went here multiple times during our week stay in Kitty Hawk. First, the donuts were unmatched in terms of variety, quality, and taste. We loved picking a variety dozen and trying multiple flavors. A couple favorites were the cookies & cream (Oreo), maple bacon, and chocolate glaze with peanuts. In my opinion they are best fresh, so eat there if you can!My only issue with this location was the self-service kiosk. It was really finicky and slow (both sides but especially the side away from the entrance) so unless that’s fixed I’d recommend ordering at the human counter.Dietary restrictions: I did not see any options on the menu for gluten or dairy-free, but didn’t ask a staff member if they had options for these restrictions.“

They always make my drinks correctly, and the staff is always friendly and personable.So kudos to the store management for fostering a great team, and thank you to the staff for the great service!“
“Well, what do say that hasn't been said about Duck Donuts .How about a religious experience. All I heard was OH MY GOD !! How good they were . For the people who gave one star for service, get a life the donuts alone are 5 star and restaurant business has been behind since covid fining good people or haven't you heard . To take away 4 stars is a total shame... Also I noticed that all the low reviews had less than 10 reviews. Maybe they need to go out more so they can see what bad service really is .“

“I didn't realize they were only open until 1pm so I felt like a butthead showing up at 12:50pm, but they were kind enough to brew me some coffee despite the timing! The donut is absolutely where its at, I got the donut with maple icing, bacon, and a caramel drizzle and it was fantastic. Savory, sweet, warm, exactly what was needed on a cold day. The coffee was fine, pretty much Starbucks quality, which isn't surprising seeing as this is a chain, not coffee I'd feel a need to get again. All in all, absolutely a recommendation for donuts, especially with their huge variety, but for coffee I'd stick to finding a more local cafe who will give you something of higher quality taste.“
