“I stumbled upon this little gem while in the area and was blown away by how wonderful everything was. The coffee is incredibly high quality, and you can really taste the care they put into roasting their own beans right on-site. The vibe is so cozy and artistic, making it the perfect place to just sit back and enjoy a great cup. The staff were super welcoming, and it felt like a true community spot rather than just another coffee shop. I ended up picking up some local art pieces too, which was a nice bonus. I’ll definitely be making this a regular stop whenever I’m nearby.“

“I've been coming down to the Outer Banks every November for the past 32 years. Somehow I had never ran across this gem. The coffee and ice cream are perfect. We really enjoyed the malt. I also thoroughly enjoyed their specialty menu for The Fall season! We went several days and enjoyed the view, everyone that we met who worked there was great! We loved the swanky seating, the eccentric seating, and the overall beauty of this place! HIGHLY recommend checking it out!!!“

“Not quite sure why I came to look at google reviews today but here I am.

I have religiously gone to this location practically every day since it opened. I was a frequent regular at the Kitty Hawk Location prior. I truly love the staff and both stores - the Drive Thru though is uber convenient and therefore this has become my main store. Needless to say, this store hits on point every day! I’ve had one bad coffee since they opened and it was 3ish in the afternoon and can tell the coffee was just old. They immediately remade it no questions asked, apologized, and even gave us a couple free baked goods which I declined and they insisted.

“I had the $6 meal deal... Everything Bagel -- Bacon, egg, cheese. I was hungry and it was good. Honestly, I am one of those people who don't like self check-out ...so I felt like it took a little delay in getting adnowledged... but that's just me. After I was acknoweldged --service was good.
Oh, the donuts were good and the place was well maintained. Stop by show'em love.✊🏾😌

“I live around the corner, so this is my go to for coffee if I’m out of milk at home. I don’t know the manager’s name, but he is awesome! He always has a big smile on his face. He remembers me every time. And I notice they have a 100% for their sanitary rating! When was the last time you saw that?! I went this morning and I have to say that was the best coffee I’ve ever gotten from them. I didn’t even have to put sugar in it.“

“Ordered breakfast sandwiches, smoothie and donuts from Kill Devil Hills location today. Asked for ketchup for the sandwiches and they said they had none and do not plan on providing ketchup in the future. I am a local. May not come back if they do not provide ketchup. Large double storefront just opened here in KDH and plenty of room for inside tables but no tables. Hopefully these issues will be corrected so I can take my granddaughter to this store again.“

“Our party of 3 (2 vegetarians and 1 vegan) absolutely loved our lunches here. The owner was friendly and accommodating and obviously puts time and intention into her recipes. We didn't feel like her veggie options were an afterthought, like they were most other places in the OBX. The basil pesto and sun-dried tomato pesto were stellar. The fresh mozzarella was creamy and delicious. Her smoothies and coffee drinks were delicious as well. This was by far our favorite place to eat on our vacation!“

“This location, just over the bridge in Kitty Hawk (the former McDonalds) is great. It's the perfect place to grab a coffee and snack between errands and chores. The coffee was delish and the bagel i got was super tasty. The server was also very nice. I recommend!“

While some of these reviews point out the ice cream isn’t inexpensive, you’re on the coast so I guess you can go to a chain if that bothers you. The cookie dough in particular had huge chunks and is probably the best I’ve had in a long time!“

“I placed an order via the mobile app, curbside. Before I could exit the app, the lady was at my car window with my food. I was impressed. If you go to manteo McDonald's and plane an order by the app you will have to set for half an hour and then go inside just to make sure they got your order, only to find out the skipped you!“
