“We wanted to surprise our design specialist for her birthday yesterday. Hitch: she has Celiac's so gluten-free was an absolute must. My husband typed in "gluten-free cupcakes near me" on his phone and found Indulge. A pleasant voice on the phone said they had a gluten-free carrot "muffin" (later, looking at the menu, I saw that it was also "vegan"). We were able to pick up a dozen. She was so surprised. Ate one myself: unbelievably moist and flavorful, great mouth feel, heavenly cream cheese icing (which I doubt was vegan, but I'm sure that you could pre-order without). I can't wait to check out the rest of their menu!“
“It was Easter. My husband and my parents wanted to take my little sister on an Easter egg hunt, but plans quickly changed after the venue of the hunt was moved. My sister typically likes to have pizza when she comes into town and a lot of restaurants were closed. Mellow mushroom is open until 10 that day and it was a great decision.Our food was wonderful. I got the buffalo chicken dip and my husband got a California Club. He also got an Angry Orchard as a drink and he said it was nice and cold- very refreshing!My mother treated us so we do not have a total. But the Buffalo Chicken dip was around $12/$13 and the California Club was around $11/$12. Drinks were $3.50. And the Angry Orchard price wasn’t listed. So I’m not sure on that.In the summer is perfect because they have cornhole outside while you wait on your food, or even if you come to grab drinks!Overall, food was great and came quickly to the table. Service was awesome. Will definitely be going back!“
“Ritas was ordered and served at our wedding at the James River Country club on 8-12! It was perfect. Rita’s was our first date so it was great to have it at our wedding.Coordinating the order was an easy process. I was able to discuss all the details with the manager via email about the date, guest count, different Italian ice amounts and what would be best based on our guest list. The prices were pretty decent, and did include the cups and spoons. However, I did notice the prices are increased a bit compared to just Googling the party packs online. But they were worth it!We had plenty to serve. There were so many flavors to choose from, it truly was hard to narrow down! Every guest commented saying it was perfect to eat during cocktail hour after the hot wedding ceremony on the beach.Thank you Rita’s for always serving good dessert, being the host of our first date, and allowing us to bring you to our wedding. “The restaurant was clean ans the service was A+. I had the bbq nachos, and they were amazing. I have been eating these nachos since they 1st opened this restaurant, and they are always delicious. My fiance and the bonfire meal, and this is like a cookout at your table. Glad we had date night here.“
