The owners were so easy to work with and went out of their way to make my mom’s vision for her birthday a reality. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way for all of our guests. “I went on Sunday, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. I love the luxurious atmosphere of The Daily. They have a large patio area, with lots of room between tables. “Well researched food, solidly composed cocktails, and a warm interior make The Roosevelt one of the most talked about restaurants in RVA currently. Chef Leah is as much a researcher as she is a good chef. Being a long time food writer who has been on assignment in many kitchens, its no surprise to me that Leah has carved out a reputation for herself in Richmond recently. She sources a lot from local farmers, adheres often to seasonal common sense, and takes inspiration from her reading and research on Soul Food, Southern food, and Virginia food. I wouldn't classify prices at The Roosevelt as cheap but also wouldn't classify them as extravagant either. Marketed by many as a "neighborhood spot" I always see The Roosevelt as a great date night spot, particularly for those who might fancy themselves foodies. Congrats to Leah and The Roosevelt on their recent James Beard nod. In my opinion, well deserved.“

This may work at the other locations, but Richmond isn't Charlottesville. This was our goto brewery, today's has us thinking differently now“

“I’ve been wanting to check this place out for awhile. We stopped by this past Friday night to grab dessert on the way home after having dinner in shockoe bottom. Felt welcome as soon as we walked in. I could see this is a spot locals love. I let her know my son only wanted dessert and she didn’t hesitate to recommend Momma Doc’s. He ended up ordering the brownie sundae. Let me tell you, it must’ve been delicious cause he scarfed it down like he hadn’t eaten all night 😂. We will definitely be back. The menu was extensive, and the vibe was chill.“

“Lamplighter is my favorite Richmond coffee shop for many reasons. The coffee is great; they rotate specialty drinks and food, and I think they have a really well-balanced menu that offers something for everyone. The staff are all kind and chill. They offer community drinks and meals, which feels clearly a part of the values of the space and the folks working there.“

“I come to IH all the time, right on my street. This morning I got the mixed berry galette and it is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Not too sweet, perfectly flaky, with the slight crunch of granulated sugar washed on the dough. It is absolute perfection. Please consider making it a regular 😍 Thanks for all you do. “After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! The bread was perfectly toasted -- giving flatbread vibes with that warm, crispy crunch of a panini -- which took the whole sandwich to another level. You could truly taste the care and love that went into preparing the meal. To my surprise, it even came beautifully garnished with fresh sliced apples and an orange, such a thoughtful touch. I also tried the Clean Green drink, and it was just as refreshing and flavorful. This spot is the perfect mix of cute, cozy, and seriously delicious -- definitely a restaurant I'd highly recommend to any fellow foodie!“
