Shyndigz Reviews
3 straight online orders were wrong. Most recently, in place of a full piece of pumpkin cake - they sent a half chocolate cake. I don’t eat chocolate.
I called and spoke to the most rude and unprofessional “manager” I have ever encountered. She tried to talk over me every single time I spoke. She also refused to tell me her name.
Look forward to the oatmeal cream pies every year when we come down for the Richmond Marathon. Thanks so much for whipping up another batch tonight!! Perfection! #WillRunForOCP
Literally the BEST food and customer service CANNOT be beat!! 💕💕

Shyndigz is a delightful dessert destination that offers an array of delectable treats. Customers can indulge in a variety of options, including oatmeal pies, chocolate chip cookies, and luscious lemon bars. The lemon bar custard is creamy and perfectly complemented by a crunchy crust. For those with dietary restrictions, the restaurant accommodates with gluten-free cakes and lactaid options.
The staff goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction, catering to allergies and providing helpful recommendations. The atmosphere has charming Richmond vibes, with a cozy coffee-like setting and a selection of savory food offerings at the new location. Customers can browse a cool little shop while waiting to place their orders, which adds to the experience.
A highlight of Shyndigz is the made-to-order crème brûlée, prepared by sugaring and torching it right in front of customers. The restaurant also provides takeaway items for customers to bake at home, both sweet and savory. Customers have praised the oreo mocha pie, banoffee pie, and oatmeal cream pies as some of the best in Richmond. While the cakes are reported to be really good and the portion sizes are huge, some reviews mention that the seating is quite limited and can feel squished. There is outdoor seating available, but the busy atmosphere may make for a confusing experience for newcomers. With ample parking and a welcoming environment, Shyndigz is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking delectable desserts in the RVA area.
