Pork has always been moist with no fat. We took a moment to talk to William and thank him for his hard work on the pork. All staff has been wonderful. Cheesy potatoes are great as well as blueberry cobbler and cherry cheesecake (make it hard for a Diabetic). 😁🐷. Was honored to be able to support Tunnel for Towers as well. Thank you for supporting the military and first responders. We will definitely visit other locations on our travels.”

When we first moved here, my husband was insistent that we needed to find a good bagel place as soon as possible. When we found Cupertino's, we were thrilled because it turned out to be even better than the bagel place we used to go to before the move. We get bagels from them all the time, and they never disappoint. I often get lox there too, and if you are feeling something sweet, they have raised donuts as well. If you want a great bagel and more, don't sleep on Cupertino's.”

“We visited for the first time yesterday. Our waitress was pleasant company and attentive. The person who sat us was a doll. We ordered a few different things to get a feel for the food. The margherita pizza was fantastic. The penne vodka was probably the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had, and that is not an exaggeration. My husband really enjoyed his chicken parm. Happy to have found this new to us gem for when we are in the area. Thank you for bringing some of the NY Italian food charm to the Richmond area. We will for sure be back!”

“Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.”

“There’s rust on the buffets, the food was room temperature and the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. There is so much build up on the faucets and there is dried human waste smeared in the stalls. I left an entire plate of food sitting there because there was no way I was eating food prepared there after I saw the conditions presented to the public. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen looks like.”

We enjoyed several excellent appetizers including ahi tuna tacos, shaved octopus and the best mussels on the planet! Entree’s we enjoyed were Tuna Poke Bowl, Fried Grouper Sandwich with pickled pineapple just to name a couple. All of us enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again!”

“Aside from my family’s cooking, Mi Jalisco is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I was shocked to have such authentic Mexican food so far east in the US, but sure enough, it was delicious. Today was our last night living here so we had to enjoy it with Mi Jalisco one last time. Not only is the food delicious.. their portions are so big and the staff is the absolute best. The service is incredible. We became regulars and saw how much other regulars enjoyed their food, the atmosphere and the staff. We frequented the Ridgefield location(?) off of John Rolfe Parkway. Thank you to Martin, Jesus., Modesto, and the rest of the crew for making us feel at home when we were so far away from family. Mi Jalisco is so rich in the Mexican culture that it almost seems like it’s Mexico! Muchas gracias por habernos cuidado durante este año. Esperamos verlos en el futuro. Slipping and falling while turning the corner to the restrooms was not how I expected to end the visit. While attempting to get up, noticed entirely too much water left on the floor (same as in restroom), and NO "wet floor" signage placed. I alerted a staff member of what happened and that signage needs to be up. Staff needs to ensure to NOT leave excessive water when mopping and throw up signs.”

Really fun vibe all around. If you’re around Henrico and looking for a fun place to hang out, definitely check it out. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.”

A true hidden gem that I think most people fly right by on a daily basis. We all got an order of the birria ramen and the birria balls. Both dishes were amazing and I can promise you will not leave feeling hungry. The food was fresh and well seasoned, packed full of flavor, and piping hot. You can not go wrong with either of those two choices. I am ready for a return trip to try the other dishes on the menu! The only real knock that I can give the experience was a bit slow for a work day lunch break, BUT I will follow that statement with there a massive delivery order ahead us that encompassed the delivery driver to take two trips to the car and five bags. I am going to give them a pass for that.”

“I was visit my parents and walked through our neighborhood to get some local coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning. While I couldn’t sit/order inside because of the dogs, the barista was more than accommodating to take my order from their outdoor seating and bring me my food and drink. I don’t think it was on the menu but I ordered and espresso soda (espresso, club soda, vanilla syrup) and the barista was once again very accommodating and made it no problem. It was super good! I also ordered an egg and cheese on an English muffin which was delicious. Seemed like white cheddar and a soft fried egg. Would highly recommend this local place! I also appreciated how early they were open on a Sunday morning. I paid about $11 before tipping.”

I make my own rice at home and split a takeout box into 2-3 meals and am satisfied with the variety of meat I’ve gotten there so far. The salt and pepper fried chicken and the bbq chicken thighs are definitely my faves.”

The corn dog was good and the mozzarella sticks were perfectly crunchy and gooey in the middle. Those cheese curd though.....they will be in my dreams!”

Different than most Brazilian restaurants that will mostly serve dishes and plates with rice and beans, this location serves pastries (savory and sweet), cakes, breads, and some Brazilian grocery items. Everything that I have tried there has taken me back to Brazil and tasted just like home!
I’ve heard about their buffet, but haven’t tried. However, based on all the things I’ve tried, I can’t imagine being anything short of incredibly delicious!

He was very knowledgeable and really helped me through the menu. He answered the questions I had while introducing dishes to me. The Cantonese style roast duck is bone in but the flavor is remarkable, best duck dish I've ever had. The sauteed string beans were seasoned perfectly to my liking. I will DEFINITELY be returning! We order from here at least 2 or 3 times a month. We get take out mostly. The food is easy to order online, prepared quickly and overall fairly well. I always get my eggs over light or over easy, sunny side up. You get it. Runny yolks. 9/10, my eggs are slightly runny but overcooked. Some of the yolk is cooked through. Over light is the least amount of work for an egg. You barley cook it lol but it's okay, because this place will always have a spot on my plate! I enjoy it every time. You can't compete & compare Waffle House, you just can't. 🥚🥓🧇”
