Pork has always been moist with no fat. We took a moment to talk to William and thank him for his hard work on the pork. All staff has been wonderful. Cheesy potatoes are great as well as blueberry cobbler and cherry cheesecake (make it hard for a Diabetic). 😁🐷. Was honored to be able to support Tunnel for Towers as well. Thank you for supporting the military and first responders. We will definitely visit other locations on our travels.”

The margherita pizza was fantastic. The penne vodka was probably the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had, and that is not an exaggeration. My husband really enjoyed his chicken parm. Happy to have found this new to us gem for when we are in the area. Thank you for bringing some of the NY Italian food charm to the Richmond area. We will for sure be back!”

It’s not until you experience fresh fish prepared perfectly (seasoning that compliments instead of masking flavors, cooked to temperature and doneness perfection, never soggy or dry, not masked by over frying, and just melt in your mouth delicious) do you understand just how really wonderful and valuable this spot is for Richmond. You will not regret trying this place. And you will definitely go back again and again. Desserts are also made on site and are worth saving room to enjoy. Prices are as expected in Virginia for fresh seafood.”

“There’s rust on the buffets, the food was room temperature and the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. There is so much build up on the faucets and there is dried human waste smeared in the stalls. I left an entire plate of food sitting there because there was no way I was eating food prepared there after I saw the conditions presented to the public. I don’t even want to think about what the kitchen looks like.”

“Excellent I’m a known chef visiting VCU in Richmond, Virginia and saw there were great Chinese places. Since 1981 I’ve loved however not found many legit shredded pork in garlic sauce dishes. They nailed it, this classic Sichuan dish . When she placed on the table I had flash backs to Houston Texas the last time I actually ordered the dish as every place did it no justice. If you’ve never tried its spicy, salty, little acidic. Steamed rice has to be and was perfect. I started with a great hot and sour soup and then the green onion pancake. The pancake golden brown, crispy, cooked perfect. The soup a great blend had me sweating. Only negative is I’m from Georgia.”

Entree’s we enjoyed were Tuna Poke Bowl, Fried Grouper Sandwich with pickled pineapple just to name a couple. All of us enjoyed our visit and look forward to going again!”

“My day started out pretty hectic, but I received the best service from 2 very friendly ladies at RVA that put a smile on my face. I only had time for a pumpkin spice iced coffee pick me up, but it was delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this place just for the vibes and sweet service alone! Next time, I’ll be trying the food.”

“Amazing experience, food was super good, oriented towards elevated deep splouth cuisine. Fried chicken was cooked just right and crispy salmon was melt in your mouth great. We almost bought extra short-beef rib egg rolls to go! Only slight negative was that dessert took a little long to get to us. In their defense, we came late, it seemed like they cooked it fresh, and they comped it, so can't complain!”

The owners were so easy to work with and went out of their way to make my mom’s vision for her birthday a reality. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way for all of our guests. “Aside from my family’s cooking, Mi Jalisco is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I was shocked to have such authentic Mexican food so far east in the US, but sure enough, it was delicious. Today was our last night living here so we had to enjoy it with Mi Jalisco one last time. Not only is the food delicious.. their portions are so big and the staff is the absolute best. The service is incredible. We became regulars and saw how much other regulars enjoyed their food, the atmosphere and the staff. We frequented the Ridgefield location(?) off of John Rolfe Parkway. Thank you to Martin, Jesus., Modesto, and the rest of the crew for making us feel at home when we were so far away from family. Mi Jalisco is so rich in the Mexican culture that it almost seems like it’s Mexico! Muchas gracias por habernos cuidado durante este año. Esperamos verlos en el futuro. Que dios los acompañe a todos. 🩷”

Really fun vibe all around. If you’re around Henrico and looking for a fun place to hang out, definitely check it out. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.”

Slipping and falling while turning the corner to the restrooms was not how I expected to end the visit. While attempting to get up, noticed entirely too much water left on the floor (same as in restroom), and NO "wet floor" signage placed. I alerted a staff member of what happened and that signage needs to be up. Staff needs to ensure to NOT leave excessive water when mopping and throw up signs.”

“Went to try E-Loteria after running across a Tik Tok food review. I have to say that the review was 100% spot on. This place is amazing! A true hidden gem that I think most people fly right by on a daily basis. We all got an order of the birria ramen and the birria balls. Both dishes were amazing and I can promise you will not leave feeling hungry. The food was fresh and well seasoned, packed full of flavor, and piping hot. You can not go wrong with either of those two choices. I am ready for a return trip to try the other dishes on the menu! The only real knock that I can give the experience was a bit slow for a work day lunch break, BUT I will follow that statement with there a massive delivery order ahead us that encompassed the delivery driver to take two trips to the car and five bags. I am going to give them a pass for that.”

The boba was definitely one of the best I’ve purchased, no exaggeration. I also got the rainbow cake. Speaking as a cake addict, the texture was soft and just sweet enough. The frosting was a bit hard though and a bit too sweet. The sprinkles on it added the best crunch as well.
There was barely 2 minutes of wait time. I was in and I was out.
Definitely an underrated cafe in the area. Absolute cinema🙌 Prepare for a usual customer🙏🙏”

Room and hallway colors seem a little loud in contrast. Comfortable bedding and good HVAC. Pool was closed and very little in terms of breakfast grab items… disappointing. Would stay here again if in the area despite limited amenities.”

“I was visit my parents and walked through our neighborhood to get some local coffee and breakfast on a Sunday morning. While I couldn’t sit/order inside because of the dogs, the barista was more than accommodating to take my order from their outdoor seating and bring me my food and drink. I don’t think it was on the menu but I ordered and espresso soda (espresso, club soda, vanilla syrup) and the barista was once again very accommodating and made it no problem. It was super good! I also ordered an egg and cheese on an English muffin which was delicious. Seemed like white cheddar and a soft fried egg. Would highly recommend this local place! I also appreciated how early they were open on a Sunday morning. I paid about $11 before tipping.”

“This place is fantastic, we came here after a date night for a sweet treat and coffee and ended up with an assortment of things. Every thing they make is absolutely delicious, with complex yet delicate flavors.
The place also has very comfortable seating and great atmosphere, it's a great place to slow down and enjoy the food.
I highly recommend their coconut cake, they make it themselves and has this absolutely amazing texture with a syrup that makes it gooey and chewy in the best way possible.
Their Turkish delights and coffee are also a must have. I will definitely be back.”

The lamb and spices along with the two sauces: green raita and white sauce add such flavors to the dish and makes me crave it for next time. The rice is always cooked well and tasty. When the weather permits, the outdoor seating is also pleasant. I recommend this restaurant for dine in, or take out. Portions are large enough for take home or an additional meal with the left overs.”
