Elephant Thai Short Pump is a great place with lots of vegetarian options, including the curried vegetarian duck and crispy veggie spring rolls. The Wonton Soup is one of the best in Richmond, flavorful with meaty wontons. The curries are fantastic, especially the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. The Pad Prik Pao could use a little less fish sauce, but still good. Prices are reasonable, but no lunch menu offered. The service is good, but language barriers may be an issue. The red curry had good flavor but a thinner consistency, and the beef was low quality. The crab rangoons were initially cold but replaced promptly. Overall, Elephant Thai Short Pump is a place worth visiting for delicious Thai cuisine, despite some minor issues.
