“Many have already said it, but this is kind of one of those hidden gems. Never really busy inside, but definitely always busy for takeout and delivery service orders. This isn't like a fancy date night kinda place, but it's definitely a place for a great meal when not worried about the ambiance. It's a rather open place with the seating being right by the sushi bar and open to the entrance all in one view, and there is like another section of the restaurant behind that wall, but I think they only use it if busy/full it seems. Service is okay and pretty typical for what you get at most hibachi style restaurants, which is not personable but just checklist style. I'm okay with it though as long as it's attentive and my drink isn't empty, so no worries because this spot is intimate enough to be checked on and constantly see your server. Sushi here is fresh and delish. This time I ordered just a spider roll as an appetizer, but have had the pleasure of trying many different sushi options here before. Definitely a good choice to try something. I really like their hibachi, despite them not having a grill where you get the show and it's cooked in front of you. Honestly, sometimes (most times) I don't want the show and just want to eat lol so I actually like that I get my food in about 20 mins! The only things I wish they would change is to cut the veggies more and bring out yum yum and/or ginger sauce without having to ask for it. Either way food is great. I've also ordered takeout during lunch and prices are great and portions are decent. I always appreciate consistency between lunch and dinner and dine in vs takeout for a restaurant, and they are consistent regardless of how you dine. I like that it's kinda low key in the cut and never packed and pretty intimate for a quick hibachi or sushi dinner!“
“The food was excellent! I literally ordered my food on a Sunday during brunch and it came out four minutes later! I ended up getting the raspberry lemon drop and that was so good and so cute. The way the bartender made it. When I got there, there were about six other tables that were full, but there was literally no weight. The waitress was also very friendly, and they came around to make sure we were OK every 10 minutes or so which I thought was great. They also told me that on Sundays they have happy hour all day so the drinks ended up being five dollars and then the other drinks on the other side of the menu were four dollars off.“
“Great Jamaican food - fresh and flavorful. Even better hospitality - friendly and nice. Our family of 4 grabbed the last 4 chicken patties available that Sunday afternoon. Yummy and truly whetted our appetites. Jerk chicken and curry chicken our entrees for the day - no try goat or seafood. Got mixed sides - rice and peas. Tender chicken just melted into our mouths. Perfectly spiced too.Lady pampered us with her lovely talk about Indians in Jamaica. She kindly introduced our family to the chef and her niece owner. Lotsa to go customers. We were the only ones to eat on the bar stools. Clearly they are mostly take out.Got 2 Jamaican fruit juice bottles - ginger and the fruit medley. Kid loved it. Quite sugary though. Should have stuck just to the food. Anyways this is another addition to our must eat local list and we will definitely be back! An affordable tasty Caribbean joint.“
“Vegetarian options: There were very few selections of "vegetarian" dishes which included rice, noodles, and a couple varieties of vegetable options.Parking: Large parking lot with ample parking spaces.Kid-friendliness: There are many kid friendly options to choose from.“
“Atmosphere: Bright, airy, loud, great working space. Kid friendly, cleanService: attentive, friendly, quickFood: Breakfast Burrito and hot tea for $17+ was over valued. Burrito is mostly rice and was messy to eat. Would benefit from more breakfast ingredients (eggs/bacon) and a dipping sauce? Sour cream or salsa per the bean and rice style.Overall, would come back to try lunch and dinner items!“
“I love this place!! Our lunch was super yummy and the service was incredible. I’ve had Tuna steak at other restaurants but it was cooked perfectly here and will definitely get it again. They also have a wide variety of delicious sides. I could eat those hush puppies everyday! Ask for Eric when you go in. He is awesome! He even played Luke Bryan for me and that made it an even better experience!“
“If you crave authentic Chinese cuisine and not the fast food takeout type spots this is a great place to go. You can taste the quality and wok hei flavoring in their food. The beef chow fun was delicious. The tangy crispy pork was indeed nicely crisp and not soggy or chewy. There were many dishes on their menu that I have never had before. Will surely come back.“
“Ask for the back room if you like a quieter space where you can more easily have a conversation. Our server was a dream - perfectly attentive, accommodating, and polite to my aging and innocently intoxicated parents. The food ranged from good to exceptionally good. We tried a variety of surf-and-turf entrees with sides like cheesy potatoes, broccolini, and shoe string fries. Members of our party ordered steaks in every temperature - medium rare, medium well, and well done. Every steak was delicious and perfectly cooked. When the manager came to check on us later in the meal, it wasn't the typical low energy drive-by, but a genuine interest and calming presence that stayed just long enough before floating on to the next table. Kudos to this restaurant and their excellent staff.“
“We found a great new seafood place! Very casual. Prices were reasonable. I got 1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell for $12.88 and they were so sweet! Happy hour margaritas are NOT on the rocks with salt. Not sure what ones were but we were clearly there for the happy hour specials yet nothing was communicated to us. We even asked for a second one before happy hour ended so I thought it was obvious. Paper on the tables. Bibs. Steamed in bags. I had lobster tail and 1/2 pounds of steamed shrimp. Both were sweet and delicious. My friend had snow crab and steamed shrimp. Hush puppies happy hour price was $2.50. Drinks were good. Shout out to our server Noah! He was very nice. Oh, and we each got two corn on the cob and two potatoes. My total was $61.25 before tip. Reasonable for two drinks and oysters appetizer. I would definitely go back.Parking: We were able to park right in front at 6pm!“
“The restaurant no longer does dine-in since COVID. The owner is very friendly and the food has always been good and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable for the area. We order from here weekly.Parking: Big parking lot and a gravel parking area. It shares parking with Deep run barbecue and Daddios Grille.“
“We were introduced to food from Hunan Cafe while visiting family. We don't live in the area, so while in the area, we made a point to pick up food for dinner and still have leftovers to enjoy. The food is excellent with good portions. I especially like the General Tso Chicken and Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. The wife enjoys the Pepper Steak and Beef Lo Mein. Delicious food.“
“Absolutely fantastic! Tacos were exceptional. The Verde sauce on the chicken enchiladas was so flavorful. The flan we had for dessert was incredible. Combination of such wonderful food and margaritas with great service made perhaps the best meal I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant.“
