We were introduced to food from Hunan Cafe while visiting family. We don't live in the area, so while in the area, we made a point to pick up food for dinner and still have leftovers to enjoy. The food is excellent with good portions. I especially like the General Tso Chicken and Roast Pork Egg Foo Young. The wife enjoys the Pepper Steak and Beef Lo Mein. Delicious food.

We waited too late to get into Peking on Christmas night. I googled Chinese food near me and Hunan Cafe came up. It's in a strip mall on Staples Mill Rd. We walked in and there were just a few people eating inside. 1/2 of the restaurant was packed up, not sure why! I used the restroom and it was very clean! The food came and it was really tasty! I love this place. It is your standard Chinese restaurant with all the classics on the menu, including egg rolls (which no one in Richmond does). The food is great, the portions healthy, and pretty reasonable prices. Give it a try when your craving traditional Chinese.P.S. to the owners: you guys gave us a cool little bamboo hanging calendar last time we ordered. I thought that was a really nice touch and a cool promo gift.
