“One of the best seafood boils I’ve had in a long time. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was so easy to get out big chunks of crab without much hassle. The server was very attentive and brought use extra butter without asking. I tried fried oysters for the first time, they were so crispy and well seasoned. The atmosphere inside was nice and cozy. Wouldn’t be able to tell how fire this place is from the outside. 10/10 recommend, go get yourself some seafood!“

“A and F Seafood has been a hidden gem in Richmond’s south side area for decades. It’s a family oriented place to grab the freshest seafood in the RVA area. Nothing ever tastes frozen. “We had an early Christmas Eve dinner at The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing. It was one of the best meals that we have had in Richmond. The atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by the duo playing holiday music; the food was excellent (as usual) but what made this a truly wonderful dining experience was the service. Our server, Trinity, was upbeat, efficient, and most of all really seemed to care if we were having a good meal. Without being intrusive, she checked on us several times to be sure we were doing ok. She is absolutely outstanding!“

“OMG! Their Harvest Season Wine Dinner was amazing! Manager Tony and staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and wine was delicious. I am so grateful to have participated in this budget friendly event. I now have a new favorite wine, Migration Pinot Noir. The little rubber duck on the delicious Pumpkin Espresso Martini was such a cute ending to an amazing meal. I highly recommend attending these events and I look forward to their winter event.“

The owner is the nicest man, greets everyone that walks through the door. My only complaint is that it is hidden behind a berm on Hull Street and it is confusing because it faces Hull Street but must be entered through the shopping center parking lot…..but it is well worth your time to seek it out.“

“Every time I visit RVA, I order the lamb biryani with some 🌶️ and a side of naan. The ordering is easy, pick up too. The food is always delicious 🤤. The lamb and spices along with the two sauces: green raita and white sauce add such flavors to the dish and makes me crave it for next time. The rice is always cooked well and tasty. When the weather permits, the outdoor seating is also pleasant. I recommend this restaurant for dine in, or take out. Portions are large enough for take home or an additional meal with the left overs.“
