Two different people brought our food, and she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. The only time she came back was to give us our bill.“

“This was my first time going here. The food and service was great. The environment was nice waterfront dining. There are boat docks and piers and a river side burm that people were able to fish from. The parking was easy and plentiful however I have heard in the peak season during the nice weather it gets very crowded so parking may be more of a challenge and possibly a wait to get in. They do have a waiting area with firepits and drink service which is a nice feature. I have also heard they have live music during the peak season. I checked the website and they have a good line up of live music coming this spring and summer. I am looking forward to going back during peak season to enjoy the waterside atmosphere with live music. I think this may be my new favorite go to place for the spring and summer. The food was great, they have good appetizers and personal pizza choices also like a Greek and Italian style and they had good beer choices and drink options. IPA’s like Stones and Falcon Smash and a Blackberry cider. There were lots of other food choices on the menu also. I recommend you try this place for the atmosphere, the drinks and the food.“

“This place SHINES. I was a little skeptical due to location and the exterior appearance, but do not over look this gem. The owner greeted us with a friendly smile and ensured we had the best customer service throughout our visit. “I’ve eaten here for the past two weekends. The #1 jumbo males are my favorite. Last weekend I came as soon as he opened and requested to pick them up 3 hours later. Upon my arrival the owner had them boxed up and ready to go. My family was overjoyed with how fresh and succulent they were. Today was no different when I visited to get my #1 males. Same great customer service and amazing product for the past 20+ years we’ve visited.“

“Very popular place! Casual family atmosphere. We met with family members for a group dinner at Riptides on a Saturday evening. They don't do reservations, so get there early with a large group! Service was very good, the servers were VERY busy and working hard. The restaurant was packed so noise level was higher than I expected. Atmosphere was busy and friendly.I had seared scallops that were perfectly cooked. Husband had baked catfish that was very good, but he will try blackened next time. We will be back! “A truly memorable experience. The home was built in 1760 and hosted George Washington, Thomas Jefferson , and other notables. You will eat like Colonials did. The decor, fireplace, and candlelight make it seem that you’ve gone back in time. The food and service are also superb. Ample parking.“

We dined here on Valentine’s Day and were seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious so I don’t think I’ve ever waited long. Our server Darrell was phenomenal.The food as usual did not disappoint. I love love the Cajun fried rice and catfish sliders (no tartar, add lettuce, remoulade sauce on the side) and had been looking forward to those for a week. We tried the battered buffalo wings for the first time and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly; would definitely order again. We also did a custom boil with 1/2 lb of each: crab legs, shrimp, sausage with the boil bay sauce and was the perfect amount for us. 10/10 experience per usual!“

“I used Ms. Girlee's catering for a family gathering of 30, after they came highly recommended. I couldn't have been more impressed. From my initial phone call with Helen the owner, to her friendly staff at pick up, the service was top notch. The food was out of this world, I would give highlights but honestly we didn't have one bite of anything that didn't leave us gasping over the taste. The chicken was so crispy and traveled incredibly well. My aunt said the green beans were the best she's ever had. The portions were also very generous. “Really nice place, great food and great service. This is a smaller place but really nicely decorated inside. Clean with really good service. It's a bit of an upscale neighborhood Mexican spot. I've had the carnitas enchiladas, chicken tacos, steak quesadilla, queso and taquitos. All were excellent. Their ingredients seem much higher quality than other local places. Definitely recommended and hope they keep up the high quality food.“
