“The Crab Meat Fries are amazing, the best I've tasted. Fries have a crisp to them with real crab meat on top and sauce on top. The sauce is sweet (my favorite), definitely not that overbearing Old Bay seasoning with queso cheese that you get from other places.“

The building was clean and well kept. The prices were much better than I was expecting for real seafood. “My Texana quesodilla and my daughters quesodilla was burnt on the outside but the food inside was excellent. Could have easily been fixed while making. If we had been dining in we would have asked to have it remade. We didnt see it till we got home. The white dip that you get with the chips was a little spicy. Those are the only reasons we didn't give the food a five star.“
“This was my first time going here. The food and service was great. The environment was nice waterfront dining. There are boat docks and piers and a river side burm that people were able to fish from. The parking was easy and plentiful however I have heard in the peak season during the nice weather it gets very crowded so parking may be more of a challenge and possibly a wait to get in. They do have a waiting area with firepits and drink service which is a nice feature. I have also heard they have live music during the peak season. I checked the website and they have a good line up of live music coming this spring and summer. I am looking forward to going back during peak season to enjoy the waterside atmosphere with live music. I think this may be my new favorite go to place for the spring and summer. The food was great, they have good appetizers and personal pizza choices also like a Greek and Italian style and they had good beer choices and drink options. IPA’s like Stones and Falcon Smash and a Blackberry cider. There were lots of other food choices on the menu also. I recommend you try this place for the atmosphere, the drinks and the food.“

“This was my 1st time ordering & I ordered ribs, collards and cabbage. Then the 2nd plate was hamburger on mashed potatoes and gravy with mac and cheese. Both came with cornbread! Everything was amazing! The ladies working there were so nice! I also got the strawberry pound cake….. So good!! Would recommend and do plan to return to try other menu options!“
“I’ve eaten here for the past two weekends. The #1 jumbo males are my favorite. Last weekend I came as soon as he opened and requested to pick them up 3 hours later. Upon my arrival the owner had them boxed up and ready to go. My family was overjoyed with how fresh and succulent they were. Today was no different when I visited to get my #1 males. Same great customer service and amazing product for the past 20+ years we’ve visited.“

“A truly memorable experience. The home was built in 1760 and hosted George Washington, Thomas Jefferson , and other notables. You will eat like Colonials did. The decor, fireplace, and candlelight make it seem that you’ve gone back in time. The food and service are also superb. Ample parking.“

Two different people brought our food, and she never came back to see if we wanted refills on our drinks. The only time she came back was to give us our bill.“

You pay for what u get, so I don't mind spending getting great food! They have fish by pound, muscles, etc! “Very popular place! Casual family atmosphere. We met with family members for a group dinner at Riptides on a Saturday evening. They don't do reservations, so get there early with a large group! Service was very good, the servers were VERY busy and working hard. The restaurant was packed so noise level was higher than I expected. Atmosphere was busy and friendly.I had seared scallops that were perfectly cooked. Husband had baked catfish that was very good, but he will try blackened next time. We will be back!
