“I've been seeing this place online for a while and decided to try it. My family placed an online order. It was ready during the estimated time. Everything was hot and prepared well. The cocktail shrimp was so delicious. My son really liked them. My husband said the chicken and fries were great. I had a crab leg and shrimp combo. My food was really scrumptious as well. I thought prices and portions were really good compared to similar restaurants.“

“We had an early Christmas Eve dinner at The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing. It was one of the best meals that we have had in Richmond. The atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by the duo playing holiday music; the food was excellent (as usual) but what made this a truly wonderful dining experience was the service. Our server, Trinity, was upbeat, efficient, and most of all really seemed to care if we were having a good meal. Without being intrusive, she checked on us several times to be sure we were doing ok. “On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“We recently had dinner at Beaucoup, and while there were definitely things we enjoyed, there were also some challenges that would make me hesitate before recommending it to everyone.

The highlights were exceptional. The beet salad was outstanding, and the bouillabaisse alone was worth the visit. Both dishes were beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and memorable enough that I would gladly order them again. The cocktail program is also excellent, with a creative selection that complements the menu well.

The service was another standout. Our servers were friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Despite a busy dining room, everything arrived promptly, and we felt well taken care of throughout the evening.

The biggest drawback was the atmosphere. The restaurant was extremely loud, and the tables were packed very closely together. The combination of the noise level and cramped seating made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the meal. By the end of dinner, I was ready to get outside and enjoy a little breathing room.

The menu is somewhat limited, so if oysters, seafood, or steak aren't your favorites, I would suggest reviewing the menu before making a reservation. That said, I appreciated seeing a vegetarian special available as well.

Overall, the food and service were excellent, and the beet salad and bouillabaisse were so good that they more than made up for the crowded, noisy environment. Despite the challenges, I'll absolutely be back—hopefully for another bowl of that incredible bouillabaisse.“

My only complaint is that it is hidden behind a berm on Hull Street and it is confusing because it faces Hull Street but must be entered through the shopping center parking lot…..but it is well worth your time to seek it out.“

There was a couple walking up the stairs in front of us as we went in, and when we got to the door, a waitress said “I need that cup” and yanked it out of the woman’s hand as she walked off. She was the same waitress that sat us, but not who took our order. The waitress who took our order was extremely rude almost the entire time. A couple of times she brought food out and put it on our table AS she’s walking by. I stopped her once, to ask if we could have our bread warmed as it was cold. She barely stopped as she said “no.” And continued walking. The waitresses were rude and made me feel so uncomfortable with their terrible attitudes. Atmosphere is a little cramped but it was fine. The food was AMAZING though. It was really hot, and the pasta portions were GENEROUS.“

“It's been a few years since I visited El Caporal in person. We were hungry after going downtown for a doctor's appointment so we decided to have dinner out.

This is such a great little restaurant. Extremely fast service, delicious, fresh food. Mom ordered a taco salad, I got #4 and requested the verde sauce which is amazing. The folks across from us ordered a great looking dessert before leaving, and we were jealous of the margarita ordered by the gentleman who took the table. Sadly we don't drink these days but lots of great looking cocktails were going by.

Chips were fresh and warm, salsa and white sauce were fresh.

$38 for the two of us with tip, two entrees and a diet Pepsi.

“I came here for a good seafood meal that didn't cost an arm and a leg. Instead of the drive thru, I decided to change it up and eat inside. Count me very surprised.

The moment I walked in, the place smelled amazing, and I was greated after I took my first step in. The staff were polite and quick to take my order. You expect fast food places to be slightly dirty inside, but this place was spotless! The decorations were well done. Good music playing. If it wasnt for the occasional sound of someome taking drive thru orders, I would have mistaken this for a traditional sit-down resteraunt.

Dont let the surrounding area fool you. This place is definitly going to be a return visit for me.“

“I live Yoshi Sushi! They have always given me great service and very tasty food. I worked with sushi restaurants for about 10 years and I can say that the quality is great for the price. I always get the Tropical roll, it’s like dessert. The sushi rice is delicious, cooked just right. Nothing worse than sushi with overcooked rice. The foods that come from the kitchen are also great. Shrimp and veggie tempura, hibachi, and yaki soba are among my favorites.“
