First time coming here for takeout. Great staff.
The selection was good, the food quality was good, and the service friendly and prompt. The dining area was still severely limited in the style of COVID restrictions. If that has not been the case, the rating would have been higher. Very decent Chinese place though.
Cafe Gourmet has been my go-to Chinese restaurant for decades. The quality is excellent. They use good ingredients and it actually tastes delicious, unlike most other Chinese places.
Everything I’ve tried is great. The chicken and broccoli is my favorite, the lo mein is delicious, the egg rolls are crispy and flavorful, and their soups are outstanding.
If you’re in the Bon Air area and want really good Chinese food, this is the place.
