“For Chinese takeout (only!) Dragon China is top shelf. When you order online (recommended) you can make special requests, like spicy or no broccoli. The portions are large and the staff are friendly. The menu is very familiar, its typical Chinese-American takeout.Dragon China is nothing to look at and the location isn’t great, and you would only get familiar takeout dishes from here. But the takeout is SOLID, so bear that in mind. The quality of the food is quite good. When we ordered a shrimp dish recently we were pleased with both the quantity and size of the shrimp, and it was prepared very well.I give DC 4 stars because they don’t have a dine in option, but if takeout is what you are seeking, you should order from here with confidence.“
“Honestly didn’t have high expectations because just randomly stopped here after flying in from the west coat and was on my way to my hotel. It was 15 minutes before closing as well.Orange Chicken is amazing and fresh. I give my self 1 star for forgetting a drink ?“
“This is the best hot & sour soup I've had - it's the closest to that of a Chinese restaurant from my childhood. I immediately ordered another container of it to-go! The bbq pork fried rice has a wonderful smokey flavor. Fantastic service, my waiter was so kind!“
“The food was great. We ate the spring rolls appetizer and ribs entree. The bowl of rice was insufficient for the amount of meat. The five spice ribs tasted great and I think more veggies would have made for a filling meal. The hostess warned us about the slanted table, but at check out, my water glass fell off and cracked on the floor. It is upsetting to know that the elderly around us or our child could get seriously hurt if a glass falls off at the wrong moment. Please, manager or owner reading this, replace the table or fix it for the sake of guest safety. We really hope you toss it because it’s necessary and beneficial. Thank you.“
“I’ve eaten here one time before. Food is extremely fresh! I’ve ordered from a few different Chinese restaurants in the area, and this is by far the best one!! I did order a lunch Kung Poa Chicken special, which came with a soup and rice. Very delicious!“
“This is the ONLY Chinese restaurant I like on this side of town . And probably in Richmond period. My food is always good the fried chicken wings are cooked well no feathers on them like some places and the fried rice is good as well. Their Wonton soup is real good and flavorful . Keep this up I will always be a customer!“
“The shrimp fried rice was below average due to the amount of grease it had. The shrimp and broccoli were average but the wings on the other hand, were amazing. In fact, the wings are the reason why yummy deserves 4 stars as opposed to 2. They were crispy and cooked to perfection. Good job on that“
“P.F. Chang’s is one of our favorite places to eat out as a family. My children and I love the food and the staff are always so kind and patient. The portions have always been more than enough for leftovers to take home to enjoy again the next day!“
“I've been happily stopping at Hunan East, nearly every Saturday, to fill up a take-out tray from their buffet, which has many healthful options, with stir-fried meat and vegetables, all cooked just enough. I get enough food for 4 meals, for the price of two, and that's with a tip (just my choice, not expected, and I serve myself).“
“Definitely for takeout, not for dining in. So far it’s had the best Chinese food of any restaurant I’ve tried in this area. The pork fried rice has the tasty chopped pork I expect to get instead of the little stringy brown pieces that many Chinese restaurants are using now. However, it lacked flavor. The beef with vegetables has very tender pieces of meat, and the vegetables taste very fresh. It’s very good, but needs a bit more brown sauce. The boneless barbecued pork has wonderful flavor but too many pieces with gristle, so I don’t recommend it. Overall, I’ve had two good experiences with Tings’s so far, and I will be ordering from them again.“
“Don't walk but run to this Chinese restaurant! They prob have the best crab rangoon in the area by far! We also ordered the dumplings which were also delish. The S3 General Tso and C12 sesame chicken combo. Sooooo good! We also got 2 free drink, I'm not sure if they came with the meals but they were a good surprise when not expecting it.“
“That was some of the best lo mein and chicken and broccoli I’ve had. My boyfriend goes here and got us dinner. I’m glad he did. We ate it all. He loves the chicken wings and fried rice. It was just $23 and was still really good. Egg roll was good too.“
“As a gluten free, dairy free and soy free person, I don't try to eat at Chinese places. My wife had the broccoli with garlic sauce and tofu and said she would give it a solid 4.4/5. The broccoli was not overcooked, the meal was not drowning in oil. She will try it again with a different meal. They are take out only right now, so don't plan on eating in. I'm unsure if this is a temporary or permanent thing since they have a dining room.“
“Decided to try this place today after stopping next door for a much needed cupcake fix. It was empty but the atmosphere was nice. I was greeted by a very nice older lady who seated me. Wanted to order something I hadn’t tried before because I’m not an adventurous eater. I settled on Pork buns and Mu Shu Pork. It was so delicious. Hot and seasoned well. I will definitely come back and try more items.“
“This place serves the best chinese food and the best dim sum I have ever had anywhere. Yes, the service is slow, we got lucky and the food came out immediately though. It's just a bit slower to get the box and check (in our experience on a Sunday at 4pm). Combination fried rice was outstanding, as were various items we ordered from the dim sum menu.“
“"I want to give a constructive review of a restaurant, dividing it into three parts. Taste and quality, and presentation of the dishes get 5 stars. Customer service was unprofessional, and the waiter's presentation earns 3 stars. Dedication to decor and friendliness also get 3 stars. In total, I'll give four stars because giving five would mislead my neighbors and friends. However, I don't want them to be treated poorly, even though the food is exquisite. If these points improve, I would gladly invite many friends there."“
“We had a party of 10 and we were all pleased with the food and service. They have a perfect place to seat 10 people comfortably. All of our food arrived at the same time, hot, and very fresh. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. None of us had been here before, but we will definitely return.“
“Just as good as good official DC Chinese. Very nice people working. Important to me they have perfect yellow wonton soup, instead of what ever other put in it that makes it brown and salty (probably soy). And they recreated a dish perfectly for me that I explained to them what was in it! ??“
“I've been to, and reviewed dozens of Chinese-shops and found that they all lacked in one area or another, bringing their overall total score to an all-new high with Fu Wah, 5-stars is all I can give for perfect rice, egg-roll (unlike any other restaurant), crab-rangoon (with the cream-cheese portion-size being absolutely top-notch), General Tso's (which is by far the most revealing reason to come-back here)! For the first time, I have not had a headache from dehydration thanks to the excellent quality food-service Fu Wah has provided!Thank you, thank you, and THANK YOU!“
“The food here was very good. The chicken was cooked fresh and the amount of breading was perfect. Would definitely go back again and recommend for delicious Chinese food. Low stars on atmosphere due to restaurant was set up for take out only.“
“WOW. Best little spot for quality Chinese food. There isn’t a dish i have not had. The fried chicken is finger licking, the sesame chicken is always flavorful and The Singapore Mei Fun is top tier. I’ve had other restaurants leave the tails on the shrimp, not Lung Wah. They offer delicious meals for reasonable prices and incredibly fast service. The staff is friendly and they provide any and all of the condiments you may desire (i strongly recommend the hot sauce). If you’re on the fence about trying this gem, take a leap and try it.“
“I can’t believe I’m eating good Chinese food in a mall. I rely on reviews to make meal choices so I’m compelled to leave this review. The reviews looked promising so I ventured out. Was almost dissuaded when I noticed it was inside the mall. I had the general Tso chicken, broccoli beef combo with fried rice. It was quite good! The lady server was polite and helpful. Will be back!“
“I think it's an entirely mediocre Chinese and Thai place. Way too much broccoli in the orders in my opinion. Their advantage is that they're relatively quick, well located with good hours, have a lot of menu options, and are fairly priced. It's okay.“
“The best Chinese food restaurant around ❤️❤️ very affordable and good they always get your order done in a timely manner and that is very convenient for people like me that have a limited lunch time !! I Recommend this small business because they actually care for their customers. It’s a small family owned restaurant that has been serving the community for 10+ years“
“Haven't been there in ages. Got there early, my companion and I. We had the Kung party chicken buns for a starter. 2 sauces, one spicy, the other ginger/garlic. Great beginning. My companion had a beef dish for which she substituted tofu. I had the shrimp and scallop Kung pao.. We both had brown rice. We were both extremely satisfied. Brian was our waiter. Must knowledgeable about the offerings and forthcoming with suggestion, all spot on. The food was delivered to our table in a most timely matter.“
“Great and vary menu selections. The food is delicious with big portions. I had the lunch special: served with soup or egg roll, roast pork fried rice or white rice your choice. Which is available Monday through Sunday 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pricing is very reasonable, a good value for the money. So far the best take out Chinese food, I have eaten. I live in Brunswick County VA. I will be back whenever I'm in the area.“
“Lord I’ve been working at the VMFA for 10+ years and the Eatery is known to be employee’s favorite spot to go get food! Why I went and didn’t know they was closed! Can somebody tell me why! I’m hungry!!! Is there a new location? Help me!“
“They prepare your food fresh. I got the chicken wings and fries and by time I got home about 5 minutes away everything was delicious. The person who prepared my food came out to show me she had on gloves a mask and a face shield. That was what I wanted to see and asked before she came out. I was pleased“
“- Hot and Sour Soup- Crab Rangoon- Chicken w/ mixed vegetable and shrimp fried rice- Beef Mussamum (Yellow Curry)The hot and sour soup was probably the best I ever had. I immediately finished it all which was great because I'm not feeling well. Everything else was pretty good as well, I just didn't eat a lot and was saving some for my roommate. Will be ordering again in the future. Definitely ignore the reviews and still order from here!“
“I LOVE Eat Rice. I have only gotten the Beef and Broccoli because I am a creature of habit but my partner has ordered different items and has been happy with all of it. I would say this is the best american chinese place I have ever been to. I will drive 20 minutes for this food any day. its good fresh and its just as good as take out.“
“Did take out it was nice and clean in there , really wanted some good Chinese food and was very pleased everything had flavor , food was hot for a very long time. Got the shrimp and broccoli with fried rice, rib tips and lo mean. Everything was delicious and it's rare finding good Chinese “
“Best Chinese food in Virginia! Also, chicken wings are fire! Beef on a stick is a must. Secret tip, order in when getting food. I swear the food is better when they get to know you. Cheers!Vegetarian options: They are great! Try all of them.“
“Great food! Authentic flavors. Best Asian inspired food I have had in a while. This is a new favorite for my partner and I. We typically order the Shrimp Egg Foo Young, *Sweet n Sour Chicken*, Orange Chicken/General Zao's, and Egg Rolls, among other things. We are highly satisfied each time we order. I highly recommend!Parking: Restaurant is in an odd location, in the corner of the parking lot. You have to park in front of another store and then walk around a slight corner to reach the store front. Well worth the hunt!“
“It's a little ugly and I hate the look of their wall of protection. Decent amount of food for the cost. I got the egg drop soup with dumplings. Decent ingredients but they flavor it for white people (I am one). Add some heat! Don't know if you can ask for it spicy or just have to add packets of sauces yourself. I would prefer the first choice. Uncle Roger would have some naughty words to say about the lack of seasoning.“
“This was the 1st time ordering from this location. The food was excellent. I'd had been ordering from a place on Belmont rd for years. The last 6 months it was terrible. I will be going back to the location.Vegetarian options: The vegetables were cooked just rite.“
“We ordered take out. Orange chicken, spicy shrimp with veggies, crab Rangoon…it was EXCELLENT!!! We are super picky about our Chinese food (Massachusetts has the best!) and our order was perfect! Quality and quantity! The Crab Rangoon was not the sweetened kind that I hate! Yay! Just a nice flavor with a little chopped onion… we were very pleased.. can’t wait for the leftovers tomorrow! Mmmmmm spicy ? with white rice!! The picture is of my leftover shrimp ❤️?? it is only left over because I ate all of the Rangoon first! Also the rice doesn’t come inside the dish, they serve that on the side.. I just like to add a little to soak up the spicy flavor. Thank you for wonderful meal!!“
“A little bit of backstory: I just moved in from another state, and I needed to create a list of go to restaurants and businesses I can always count on for being good.My family is now ADDICTED to the sweet and sour shrimp and this one dish with veggies and chicken in the healthy section (which, as someone trying to watch her figure, is amazing for when I'm just too lazy to cook). For to-go orders they put the sauces on the side. It threw me off at first. We were able to save a lot of the sauces for future cooking though, so I can't be mad at it. I recommend using their versatile brown sauce for any dish you want to be savory. Those were the only two dishes that we tried as we combined our dinner that day with several restaurants to try to fill our list out, but seeing how it is so close, so good, cheap, and has nice staff? We are definitely going to go again.“
