“After this place has been on “RVA Restaurants to Try” list for about 3 years, this was our first time eating at Fat Dragon, but it certainly not be our last! The wonton soup was the best my mother has ever tasted…keep in mind, she’s traveled all over the world. The ginger dressing was so delicious, I asked the server if they sold it in bottles. The garlic chicken and basil beef were both so tender and flavorful, I would highly recommend them both. And last but not least, our server was great! Do not wait to try this place like I did!!!! Go now!“

“I've been happily stopping at Hunan East, nearly every Saturday, to fill up a take-out tray from their buffet, which has many healthful options, with stir-fried meat and vegetables, all cooked just enough. I get enough food for 4 meals, for the price of two, and that's with a tip (just my choice, not expected, and I serve myself).“

“My parents were ordering from Yum Yum for us since they opened in the 90’s. For me personally this is the best Chinese food in town. They are family owned and really good people, their food is always fresh and they have the best fried noodle chips, fried rice, general tsos chicken and eggrolls. They also deliver which is really fast, I was pleasantly surprised they delivered out to my area so be sure to ask to see if you’re not sure.“

“We placed an order for pick up around dinner time. Our order was a cashew chicken, curry chicken, shrimp fried rice, and a pork lo mein. Everything tasted amazing and came out fresh. The portions were very generous and the prices were more than fair. We will definitely be coming back!!“

“My food is always fresh and prepared how I like it. They follow instructions. When I ask for extra; I can actually see the extra I am paying extra for lol. I like my shrimp fried rice packed with shrimp and it always is. They could use a storage for the items they have in the waiting area but other than that great service, always friendly and upbeat! One of two chinese places I go too and its always my 1st option.“

“I’ve been trying new things here at this place. I’ve been getting the chicken and broccoli 🥦. Wonderful. I didn’t care for the sesame chicken, more than likely it was because the chicken was not fried crispy as I requested. Other than that one experience, the owners are nice people.“

“We have ordered here for years and have always loved the food. It's generally our favorite Chinese in the area. Unfortunately the last 2 times we have had missing items. It wasn't a huge deal (especially the first time - just missing an egg roll) but today we were missing 2 egg rolls. I really don't like to complain but it seems they may be going down hill which I really hate. Please pay attention when packing orders and start checking everything before you leave!“

“Dragon City was SO good 🔥 I ordered the chicken wings with shrimp fried rice and everything was amazing.

First off, the chicken came out looking beautiful and perfectly cooked. The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, well-seasoned, and NOT dried out at all. You get 5 pieces of wings, they’re already cut into pieces, (not whole wings) and honestly they were so good I would come back just to order the wings by themselves

The shrimp fried rice was flavorful, had a good amount of shrimp, and paired perfectly with the chicken.

The customer service was also great. The lady welcomed me as soon as I walked in, which I really appreciated.

Overall, this was definitely a 10/10 for me. Simple, flavorful, fresh, and delicious. Those wings though😮‍💨🔥 I’m already thinking about my next order.

“First time ordering from Lucky. So glad we did. My wife has a very keen palet and will point out every detail. The food was fresh and very good. Delivery was quick and tried tipping the delivery driver $10. He says no, too much $3 dollars and gives me $7 back! Who does this?? Lol

“This is a pleasant surprise… My wife and I are new to the area (6 Months) and over the past few months we have been in town have been trying places to compare to our classic back home “American style Chinese” favorites. This was a great meal. We called, placed to go, and drove 9 minutes to pick up our “ready in 15” order. When I walked in the man working the counter was bringing that all to familiar brown paper bag from the back. Just our luck it was my order, we had a great quick conversation and I headed on my way. Now, for the food, that’s what matters because after all this is not a sit down style place, so ignore those negative atmosphere reviews…

The order was $52 for crab Rangoon, steamed pork dumplings (real dumps, not someone trying to pass Goyza off as a dumpling!) and 2 warm fresh egg rolls. The mains were General tso’ chicken and a happy family. One order white and one order fried rice. All were a great balance of flavor, meat, vegetables and sauce. We are extremely pleased with the overall experience and I recommend anyone looking for a quick filling meal show this spot some support.

If you want a full sit down with a perfect designed interior and a wait staff, go to Shortpump and pay for it.

“Peter changs is the most authentic Chinese restaurant that I know of. a close second would be Full Kee on horsepin off of broad. but P.Cheng's is a combo of traditional grandma like made hot pots with a twist of today to some beautifully created food art type appatisers. the scallion bubble packed is a delightfully fun munch. we ordered peking duck for take-out tonight. my husband will drive across town to get it as we are in Midlothian. the online order menue is not working. the price listed is 35.00. However the menue will not allow me to even register or order. I called we were told the price of the dish is 65.00$$$! we have pking duck 1/yr on NYE and it's my favorite Chinese Dish . so we bit the bullet and ordered. when we asked about the price difference we were told something that y'all should know.... we were told ...oh. we rais our prices around Christmas! Well thanx PETER CHANG. This better be the Best pking duck I could even imagine. This is what you think of your customers SMH.. I'm not sure that I will continue dinning with you in the future. what a shame. such good food and during the Christmas season most places offer something special to show appreciation to their patrons. But your establishments behavior reminds me od a certain Character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. lol interesting that the Walt Disney version of this story Scrooge I'd played by a Duck... 😆😅🤣😂 I'll report back after my husband returns with this golden dinner.“

“Living South of the river, I was pleasantly reminded about China Panda via the Sons of China Panda pop up this week. This morning, I got the egg tart, peanut silken tofu and mochi cake. I'm saving the egg tart and mochi cake for an after school treat sampling. The silken tofu that he said his Mom was up making overnight was simple, delicious, and a much more favorable breakfast than the typical simple carb or saturated fat laden fare common in our American diets and reflected in the offerings by local businesses. I think they would do rather well and wish I'd stopped by [on time] for more of their offerings this week. Hopefully, they will return soon! I'll also make a point to stop by China Panda for lunch in the near future.“

“I've been eating here for years and years. Best chicken wings of anywhere. Friendly people, good food, close to home! I couldn't ask for more!

Well, things change including (I think) ownership and/or cooks. I hadn’t been in for several years, so I went in for some comfort food. One of items I got, the egg drop soup, tasted of sesame oil so strongly it was actually unpleasant. I was so disappointed.“

“I always come here. I know my food is going to be right, not take too long and delicious! I always get Chicken W/mixed veg and General TSO's. Occasionally I'll do the chicken wings (crispy-- they get me right every time) 10-15 min tops for takeout and short time for delivery as well. The service is always pleasant and welcoming. “usually always yummy and spot on never had any issues but i am a bit disappointed today as my Crab Rangoons were overcooked and had BURNT areas and some were shaped oddly and also small which i never experienced, disappointed that they would serve those as i’ve spent money and expected the usual i’ve always been served. still good overall. wish i would have taken photos. usually 5 star but minus 1 for today :(“

“I'm not gonna lie but this is some of the best Chinese food I've eaten in RVA. The shrimp fried rice is fire, Mei Fun 🔥, and the chicken wings are crispy. Smh this my new spot for sure. “Fantastic food for a reasonable price. Best Chinese food I've had in the Henrico area since moving here in 2022. It's a great for take out, but call in your order first. They are busy! I wouldn't eat in, although there is indoor seating and tables, as it's very hot inside with no air circulation, air conditioning or fans of any kind, despite it being August“

The Gyoza are the biggest I've ever seen, at least twice the size of any other place. They are also the best tasting gyoza around. I was a bit disappointed that the fries were missing from my order. The portion size also felt more like a kid’s meal than a full entrée. That said, the quality of the scallops really stood out, so I’m willing to give them another try and hope for a better experience next time.“

“August 8th 2025 That the the happiest Happy family dish I have ever had!!!! I ran in just before closing time. The plastic to go container was jammed packed full of meats and seafood. If you want decent Chinese and you want it quick come to Ming’s they have never let me down in my 15+ years of going to them.“

“My family has been buying takeout (and delivery) from here for years. The food is delicious and plentiful. I love ordering combos to include their delicious egg rolls! I moved across town years ago and refuse to buy Chinese from anywhere else because of the flavor and service I received at Lin’s that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else. Whenever I crave Chinese food, I drive the entire 25 minutes just to eat from Lin’s. If they say 15 minutes, expect it to be ready in 10. Their delivery man is so kind as well, one time as a kid he even went back to the restaurant and then back to the house just to get us extra hot sauce. Everything we got was delicious but the fried wontons were extra yummy. They were perfectly crispy without being hard. The orange chicken tasted nice and tangy fresh but got even better after a day or 2 in the fridge! Best Chinese takeout I've had in a while. The location was easy to get to off the highway.
