“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

“Our workplace recently had a catered lunch from Grapevine, and it was hands-down one of the best catered meals we’ve ever had. The chicken Alfredo was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked, the rolls were soft and fresh, and the salad was crisp and flavorful—everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. Beyond the food, what truly sets Grapevine apart is the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Whether it’s catering or dining in, you always feel like more than just a customer. The owners, management, and staff are all top notch, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience. We love going in to sit down because it truly feels like being part of the Grapevine family, and you can taste the pride they put into every meal. “We had a private dinner served to us by the 2 partners of Tulsi. They came to Vinnie and Rebecca’s beautiful yard and gave us a cooking experience we will all never forget. They cooked up some speciality meals that were perfect. Chicken, fresh vegetables from the gardens, very spicy mushrooms and of course nam . Everything was perfect! Please go to Tulsi and tell them we sent you!!“

“My pop came through town about two weeks ago. He said he wanted to grab lunch. I work nearby, and knew he loves a good burger. I was concerned because my mother (who loves cooking, loves learning new recipes, but has her classics and go-to’s, makes his burgers) would never hear the end of it, if the meal was awesome. Well. I was right. So my mom and my pops came to town and wanted to have dinner, with me and my partner. After politely asking us recommendations and subtly dodging each place my partner and I mentioned. My mom asks, “Where did you take Daddy for lunch?” We ended up hanging out and chatting while the staff started to close up. Great food. Every time. Great fast friendly service. Every time. Need a restaurant that your parents like to get them to visit? (Probably not) but THANK YOU, EAZZY BURGER!“

“L'Oppossum is one of my go-to celebration destinations in Richmond. The food is inventive and well-crafted, the atmosphere is at once bohemian and luxurious, and the service is impeccable. At times I think the flavors rely too heavily on acidic character - I like a tang as much as anyone but not EVERYTHING needs it. Still i am never disappointed at the experience. Highly recommend“

“I've been coming here for about 6 or 7 years but never left a recommendation until now. I've been away for months but when I walked in the door all the servers who know me greeted me by name. Just warms my heart! ❤️ The food is great! Breakfast is my favorite because my eggs are always perfect to order whether poached or scrambled soft with cheese 😋 Nicki makes the best half/half tea with lemons 😉 But better than the food, I come for the service! These ladies (and occasionally a gentleman) make me feel so welcome and right at home! I love you all! 🥰“

“On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We finally made it to SB’s Love Shack and WOW — what an absolute gem. It’s a smaller café, so when it’s cold there can be a short wait and limited indoor seating (no reservations), but it totally makes sense for the size. When the weather’s warm, they have a large patio. They’re open 9–2, and the staff was so warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The décor is super unique with a total RVA vibe. The food was unreal. I had the Glitter on a Mattress (Texas toast with bacon & sausage gravy, a side of bacon, and edible glitter ✨) and it was SO good — and huge. We also tried the French toast with flavored fruit cream and a breakfast sandwich, and everything was amazing. Parking is limited in the front, but there’s plenty around the back and an easy walk-up through a covered patio area. Great food, great service, fun atmosphere. Highly recommend — can’t wait to go back. 💕🍳✨“

“This place has a great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. We were just driving through Richmond and decided to stop here for a bite. My husband had the brisket sandwich which he said was fantastic. I had the trainwrek that was so large and outstanding I couldn’t finish it and have leftovers. The food is fresh and has exquisite flavor! If I’m ever in Richmond again I will be returning.“

“Took my German client to this amazing restaurant and she was blissful! I’ve been many times and try to share this phenomenal dining experience with others whenever possible. High quality ingredients, all dishes are made to order and fresh and hot and delicious, generous portions and the bread is to die for! The server was delightful and so was the gentleman running the front. I can’t say enough good things! Go, enjoy!“

“This place is amazing. Last week, I ordered one of their bowls and took home ramen for my husband. He loved it so much that we went back this weekend. Even the kids ate the food (manic and cheese and plain ramen noodles), which almost never happens. The staff was super accommodating with our requests to adjust the order for the kiddos. We also loved the patio and ate outside while it rained, so that was cool too. Two thumbs up from us 👍👍😊“

-To me it's an intimate venue as you are close to the stage.
-They do have a bar on both levels.
-Parking can be tricky. Suggest arriving early to secure a good parking spot around the area.

“Absolutely friendly and wonderful staff, great food, and we witnessed a moment of humanity and kindness from a staff member I assume is the manager toward a woman who came in after us that nearly made me cry. The food is great and that’s reason enough to go back, but their mission of community support and visible and heartfelt recognition of the humanity of others in our community will have us going back again and again. Cannot wait to return! 15/10.“
