“We went to Grisette based on the reviews here and as hard it is to believe, Grisette lived up to the billing. Service was excellent, knowledgable, personable, and well timed. We had a dealer's choice prepared for us and it was excellent, we continued to drink rounds of them throughout our meal, a precise balance of fruity, tart, and gently bitter through the finale. The smorgasbord was delicious, we chose our own assortment, but it was totally enlivened by the accompanying pickles and fruit, and the bread, which was spectacular. I could have made a meal out of the bread and butter alone. We wwent steak heavy for dinner, though my wife had a duck breast, which she loved. We ordered both the steak upgrade, which was a dry aged strip steak when we were there, as well as the denver steak which is the standard steak frittes here. The strip was definitely worth the upgrade, a very nice piece of meat, properly cooked and accompanied by deliciously crisp and potatoey fries. The denver steak was fine, a smaller portion which would be better suited for a midweek meal for me, but not as succulent as the strip. Desserts are few, well executed profiteroles as well as a chocolate flan on ths night which more closely resembled a chocolate mousse cake, so rich, silken, and accompanied by scotch poached pears which would have made for a might fine dessert on there own if accompanied by some gently spiced vanilla alced ice cream. With all the drinks and upgrade steaks it was not an inexpensive evening, though one can certainly eat here on a budget. Even though it turned out to be pricier than expected the value proposition here is terrific, you get great food for your money. I hate to join the chorus and heap glowing praise on here, but if you can try it you should. Grisette should have. michelin star, it does what it does exceptionally well and with a sense of pride and passion. We ate on the patio, which we loved, but that's the only reason for the 4 star review for atmosphere which will bring down the score a hair perhaps, not going to keep us from returning though!“

“Lulu's customer service is out of this world!! Their food is also out of this world!! We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Richmond!! We had a pitcher of the Tropical Mimosas, a Bloody Mary, Shrimp & Stone-Milled Pimento Grits and Chicken & Red Velvet Waffle. Everything was absolutely delicious. Tropical Mimosas - were very refreshing and a perfect start to our brunch Bloody Mary - Bloody Mary mix is made in house and is absolutely divine Shrimp&Stone-Milled Pimento Grits - this is the star of the show! It was so creamy and perfectly seasoned! Chicken&Red Velvet Waffle - the chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked, the house potatoes were something you could just eat a whole plate of all by itself, the sausage gravy is absolutely amazing, the waffle was good but a bit dense and dry the syrup didn't even soak into it (would have been better with a good pad of melted in butter in or something)“

Would not recommend bringing your kids here as you’ll get lots of eye rolls and passive aggressive attitudes towards your children. Also asked for a replacement Thai iced tea after mine came with coconut milk and was supposed to be half and half and serve was very clearly frustrated and offered zero resolution other than “being out of half and half so that’s all we can do”. Will just order carry out next time so we don’t have to deal with the poor service.“

She had even took time to visit my wedding website so she knew what to expect. I was shocked (in a positive way!) it truly shows just how dedicated they are to their customers. From the taste testing to the day of, we couldn’t have asked for better people to work with! We also received lots of compliments on how well the food tasted!! “We google searched "restaurants near me" while we were in Richmond. The results displayed a long list of restaurants and after reviewing several we found Elegant Cuizines and I knew this was the perfect spot. We made a reservation for 8:30pm But we were running late so we call the restaurant and they assured it wouldn't be an issue. When we arrived we were greeted by Charles and seated by the waitress. The menu host a variety of foods that is dairy, free and gluten-free food. The food was beautifully plated and was to die for. Chef Theresa is making art in plate form. The ambiance was amazand the service was incredible. Elegant Cuizines can get my money any day. Charles and Theresa, thank you for making our night special, and we will be back soon“
