Highly recommend anyone to venture into Chopt - Richmond location. The Manager of this location has a great team - a reflection of good leadership. “This is my second time coming to this Chopt and it’s simply because Destiny gives top notch service in everything she does. My first time coming (last Friday), she was patient and kindly walked me through all of the options and her own personal favorites which were amazing. She also shared about the rewards program which made me a member. The thing that stood out most about Destiny was her overall presence and customer service. I truly believe thought she was a manager (and really hope she is on track to become on should she desire) no, I don’t know her from anyone else in Richmond but I can tell you, she is exceptional. “Absolutely Amazing – Love at First Bite!

I can honestly say this was one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve had. From the very first bite, I understood why it’s called Holly Philly – Love at First Bite! The steak was incredibly tender and juicy, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the bread was fresh and soft. Every ingredient tasted fresh, and the flavors blended together perfectly.

The customer service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and made the entire experience enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was inviting, and my order was prepared quickly.

If you’re craving an authentic Philly cheesesteak, this is the place to go. Great food, generous portions, fair prices, and outstanding service. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending Holly Philly to all my friends and family. Five stars without hesitation!“

“What a gem! We had the currywurst and a hot Italian sausage with mushrooms and cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. salad was refreshing and perfectly dressed. One of the best meals I have ever had. We were even able to get some packaged meat to go. The staff were so helpful and kind. Get one of everything!“

“This place is one you have to order out, but when I tell you the pizza is delicious, I mean it. To me, it is honestly one of the best (if not THE best) pizzeria in Richmond. The ingredients are fresh and the red sauce is perfection.

My only critique would be for a crispier crust, but that's just me. I have ordered their Greek pizza and have had both my aunt and grandmother try it and both agreed it was one of the best slices they've had since moving down here from NY (hence why I like a crispier crust, lol).

Tonight, I customized my pizza the way I would if I was at Blaze and it did not disappoint.“

“I had two bbq meals one day, one catered by the new hip restaurant and one by Truly Scrumptious. Truly Scrumptious was leaps and bounds beyond in terms of flavor, balance, and freshness. Would highly recommend!“

“Great place with a wonderful value! There's six different options for stew, but I ended up having the chicken tinga. It was fantastic, savory tomato broth with a generous portion of fall-apart chicken. We came on a Tuesday, so we were able to get birria mini-tacos for a dollar each. They've also got a nice little bottled beer and juice selection. I opted for a pacifico and it went great with everything. It's rare that I crave hot stew in the summer time but I can't wait until I come back here!“

“It's been a few years since I visited El Caporal in person. We were hungry after going downtown for a doctor's appointment so we decided to have dinner out.

This is such a great little restaurant. Extremely fast service, delicious, fresh food. Mom ordered a taco salad, I got #4 and requested the verde sauce which is amazing. The folks across from us ordered a great looking dessert before leaving, and we were jealous of the margarita ordered by the gentleman who took the table. Sadly we don't drink these days but lots of great looking cocktails were going by.

Chips were fresh and warm, salsa and white sauce were fresh.

$38 for the two of us with tip, two entrees and a diet Pepsi.

It truly had lump crab and lobster in the omelette some omelettes when you deal with seafood are skimpy with the crab and lobster, but hands-down Lulu was one of the best and their omelette was truly well done sometimes omelettes are not cooked all the way through. It was just an amazing experience for me, I was thoroughly impressed. I will be coming back lol 😂 I saw 👀 the chicken and red velvet waffles!“

We went to Perly's a couple days later and for the same prices the food standards were much higher. If they can step up the on the kitchen a couple notches, I will go back regularly. “You gotta, just gotta try this place. The bologna burger harkens back to old days made new again (14 years in Lakeside). The cook is salty, kind, and fun to banter with. The owners came in and treated the granddaughters to pom poms, books, and bubble-maker sets, because everyone wants to be a cheerleader, books are priceless, and bubbles are fun. Great value. Great food. Close to Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. So fun! So good!“

“I typically dine in around my lunch break, which is 30 minutes. I get the endless soup, salad, and water. My total is no more than 12 bucks after taxes. It's quick, cheap, and delicious. The environment around 11am-12:30p is chill, calm, and pretty much laid back and quite.“

“4/7/24 I observed a worker while getting a propane refill at (Quioccasin and Pemberton) walk out the trailer to the store (gloved hands on the door and other store fixtures, handling money) and back out of the store, back into the trailer and straight to the grill (it was that close) with no change of gloves. I walked over because I couldn't believe what I saw and asked the guy why didn't he change his gloves. Apparently there was a language barrier so a coworker step in i then repeated....why didn't he change his gloves. He then said..."He didn't touch anything" I'm like really!!! If they are that careless and trifling the way sickness is spread nowadays with a "nothing was wrong attitude" towards a question why weren't gloves changed do you really want them making your food? I know it smells good around that trailer but BE CAREFUL!!! folks.“

Wonderful wine selection and really eccentric collection of fun foods like unique ramen, high-quality tinned fish brands, farm fresh eggs, bacon, and cheese, and local coffee. Pricier than the average grocery store but it's convenient and the quality is good.

As for the restaurant portion, beautiful outdoor patio and the option to order inside or at the window outside. Lots of good sandwich selections, but I like their specials the most. Get the chili dog and loaded potato soup whenever they're available!“

“3/25/26 stopped by after medical appt heading back to norfolk, I ordered nuggets 8 pc, fries, vanilla shake. Order#4513147 @ 11:30:25 reg.# 57 cashier Shadee and operator Greg Williams. The young man was very polite, helped me order and offered a free cookie for the trip back I accepted that chocolate chip cookie (which was the bomb) so was the vanilla shake. I told him I had just left VCU and has a follow up from surgery. I told him they are the bomb! They are very professional workers and they take great care of their patients. Everything was super excellent! I hadn't had chic fil a in a few years because of weight issues but I had a long ride home, no breakfast so I thought I'd get some lunch. The food was at the perfect temp, not red hot just right! The vanilla shake was delicious, hadn't had one of those in years. The cookie I waited awhile to eat but delicious! Excellent, Excellent service! Keep up the good work! Love the heaters for the employees and customers! Your the Bomb!“

Steak cooked medium for the best flavor, it definitely won out over the chicken. Shrimp was not rubbery in my experience. Large enough portion to have both lunch and dinner. Definitely will be going back.“
