They have plant based cheese and italian sausage for vegan options. Not bad. Lots of veggies to add as well. I would have loved to see beyond steak tips or soy curls on the menu, but what they have is totally feasible and I ended up with a good vegan pizza.

I placed a pick up order and the form/website told me it would be ready in 13 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later and it hadn't gone in yet... took another 30 minutes to get the pizza. However -- the person working realized that this was not a great customer experienced, and they offered to refund me the full amount without me having to ask or express frustration or anything. There were a few other people waiting on late pizzas and he offered them the same as well. I'm very please with how they handled that situation. Seemed like they may have been short staffed.“

“I have been twice now and both times the food was great. The view is outside is gorgeous btw. Now as for the food the menu is a variety of dishes themed from different parts of the world. It honestly doesn’t matter what you get it’s going to be delicious. If it’s on the menu when you go I highly recommend the Georgian flatbread, the bao buns, the chorreadas, or the cachapas!“

“We had an early Christmas Eve dinner at The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing. It was one of the best meals that we have had in Richmond. The atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by the duo playing holiday music; the food was excellent (as usual) but what made this a truly wonderful dining experience was the service. Our server, Trinity, was upbeat, efficient, and most of all really seemed to care if we were having a good meal. Without being intrusive, she checked on us several times to be sure we were doing ok. She is absolutely outstanding!“

“First Watch is now our favorite breakfast place to go. It was really bad years ago as far as time to serve. It was so bad we would drive to the one in west end and still be done sooner. After they removed the manager and automated the ordering system, we now give it an A+.“

It was fantastic, savory tomato broth with a generous portion of fall-apart chicken. We came on a Tuesday, so we were able to get birria mini-tacos for a dollar each. They've also got a nice little bottled beer and juice selection. I opted for a pacifico and it went great with everything. It's rare that I crave hot stew in the summer time but I can't wait until I come back here!“

“Visited Charred for the first time yesterday and I will definitely be back! Sarah C was an awesome server, her drink rec for the Watermelon Breeze was perfect. Fried green tomatoes and fried pickles were so good. I have struggled to find anywhere that has shrimp & grits, to my particular liking, since Lady Nawlins closed--I have to say, Charred's version really put me in the mind of my old fave! It was excellent! We got a hot Hawaiian pizza to go and that was super tasty, also! I will be back often, this might become my new lil go to spot based on the awesome cocktail variety! Sad it took me this long too check it out.“

“Good was delicious and plentiful. I was able to eat left overs for dinner today. The atmosphere was vintage but clean. The waitress took long breaks before checking on us. The food made up for the lack though. I will definitely be packing. The seafood pancake was yummmy!!! And so was the bulgogi and my bestie had bimbo which she loved. I and the kimchi was a lil spicy for me but bare able.“

“Update 5/2026~ Still a great location for quality food! Lanse (I hope I spelled her name right) is a hard working Mom of a new baby! Yet when we visited with our Moms on Mother’s Day, she went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From drinks, to food and extras, she was on point with a GREAT attitude! We are asking for her upon our return on July 4th.
Excellent waitstaff, and the management at this location is superb! We always have a wonderful fresh meal (with incredibly good pizza!!) One time the kitchen made a minor mistake with our order, and the manager went above & beyond to correct it promptly! Highly recommend! We frequent this location“

“Guys. I thought I loved crossroads before. Then I tried their home made pop tart pastry? And I experienced a new level of limerance. This lil shop is crushing it. From their expansive selection of freshly baked pastries, delicious and perfectly pulled espresso shots and what I can only assume (will soon verify) is a scrumptious breakfast, they haven't disappointed me once. The barista was friendly and efficient, the girl who took my order was helpful, friendly, sweet and just happy to be there, saw her dancing around a bit, SO cute 🥰 This feels like an awesome place to be around, come check it out!!!

“Staff super friendly and clean establishment. My first visit as I walked in I noticed fresh deserts…. Different sorts pies, sliced cakes, strawberry, chocolate and such. I was impressed with the variety of smoothie options. There were also guest enjoying their meals eating in. I ordered the fried catfish dinner (good portion) which was seasoned to perfection. For my sides I had collards and Mac&chs. Everything was delicious. I’m usually very particular with my foods as I cook a lot at home so I know good food and flavoring. Can’t wait to try something else at Tenny T’s New Day! By the way if you get fried fish ask for the prepared dipping sauce. They make it per your order if requested.“

The wing/fries were a generous size that I could only eat five wings. Jeanette, Sabrina and Shante were very attentive and nice. I would definitely come back to try the honey sriracha wings. “We ordered carryout via Grubhub, ONLY because their website apparently only allows 3rd party online ordering. (Note to restaurant: set up ordering using your own website or use Toast, which is way better. ) We arrived at the time when GrubHub said the order would be ready. The hostess said it would be done in 5 minutes. 15 minutes LATER, we found out the order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen yet. In the end, we got our food more than 1/2 hour late. To his credit, Jack (owner or manager) comped the entire order. I would have be satisfied with 50%, so I appreciate the full refund. I wish he hadn’t attempted to throw his employee under the bus first. She’s only as competent as her training. Food was delicious. So there’s that. I’ll go back, but probably only when I can eat in.“
