They have plant based cheese and italian sausage for vegan options. Not bad. Lots of veggies to add as well. I would have loved to see beyond steak tips or soy curls on the menu, but what they have is totally feasible and I ended up with a good vegan pizza.

I placed a pick up order and the form/website told me it would be ready in 13 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later and it hadn't gone in yet... took another 30 minutes to get the pizza. However -- the person working realized that this was not a great customer experienced, and they offered to refund me the full amount without me having to ask or express frustration or anything. There were a few other people waiting on late pizzas and he offered them the same as well. I'm very please with how they handled that situation. Seemed like they may have been short staffed.“

“I have been twice now and both times the food was great. The view is outside is gorgeous btw. Now as for the food the menu is a variety of dishes themed from different parts of the world. It honestly doesn’t matter what you get it’s going to be delicious. If it’s on the menu when you go I highly recommend the Georgian flatbread, the bao buns, the chorreadas, or the cachapas!“

“We had an early Christmas Eve dinner at The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing. It was one of the best meals that we have had in Richmond. The atmosphere was delightful, enhanced by the duo playing holiday music; the food was excellent (as usual) but what made this a truly wonderful dining experience was the service. Our server, Trinity, was upbeat, efficient, and most of all really seemed to care if we were having a good meal. Without being intrusive, she checked on us several times to be sure we were doing ok. She is absolutely outstanding!“

“First Watch is now our favorite breakfast place to go. It was really bad years ago as far as time to serve. It was so bad we would drive to the one in west end and still be done sooner. After they removed the manager and automated the ordering system, we now give it an A+.“

The people working this afternoon were so nice and ready to help us (I had been studying the menu online though, so we knew exactly what we wanted! If you’re not sure though, they are more than willing to help), and the food was delicious and substantially portioned. The salsa bar to dress things up is amazing, but everything was incredible even without it. I got all the vegetarian stuff and I can’t wait to try more. My husband got the chicken mole on the bone and a pork guiso and now he’s fantasizing about catering a party from here because it is so homey and tastes so comforting. We went with the platillo medio option to try 2 guisos each, and with that we had leftovers, which is great for breakfast or lunch tomorrow. I will say the spicy stuff wasn’t very spicy if you like some heat, but it’s all seasoned really nicely. Corn tortillas were great, and they seemed super conscientious about that for gf guests. Definitely lives up to the hype!“

“What a phenomenal option. My wife and I were blown away. All of the food was exceptional and you can tell the staff both in and outside the kitchen really care about what they're doing. Our server Sara S was fantastic and very friendly devoting time to make conversations instead of rushing through a job. Additionally, culinary director Mitchell came to our table unprompted to check in with us and gave us a complimentary appetizer after hearing it was our first time dining there. He also reappeared toward the end of our meal and chatted with us a bit about his passion for the restaurant and the craft. Truly a great experience.“

“Staff super friendly and clean establishment. My first visit as I walked in I noticed fresh deserts…. Different sorts pies, sliced cakes, strawberry, chocolate and such. I was impressed with the variety of smoothie options. There were also guest enjoying their meals eating in. I ordered the fried catfish dinner (good portion) which was seasoned to perfection. For my sides I had collards and Mac&chs. Everything was delicious. I’m usually very particular with my foods as I cook a lot at home so I know good food and flavoring. Can’t wait to try something else at Tenny T’s New Day! By the way if you get fried fish ask for the prepared dipping sauce. They make it per your order if requested.“

They had little silver decorations on top. So cute! They were the perfect bites! The owner is so nice and creative. You must try this shop!“

“We ordered carryout via Grubhub, ONLY because their website apparently only allows 3rd party online ordering. (Note to restaurant: set up ordering using your own website or use Toast, which is way better. ) We arrived at the time when GrubHub said the order would be ready. The hostess said it would be done in 5 minutes. 15 minutes LATER, we found out the order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen yet. In the end, we got our food more than 1/2 hour late. To his credit, Jack (owner or manager) comped the entire order. I would have be satisfied with 50%, so I appreciate the full refund. I wish he hadn’t attempted to throw his employee under the bus first. She’s only as competent as her training. Food was delicious. So there’s that. I’ll go back, but probably only when I can eat in.“
