Laura Lee's Reviews
Such a lovely place with great food!
A rare 5 ⭐ review. It takes a lot to get 5 stars from me. Everything about my experience was 5 star. From making the reservation, how I was greeted, the food and the service. Oh the service, Skyler was exceptional. I highly recommend this place and I will be back.
PS: the fried oysters are tied for best fried oysters in RVA.
Had Dinner with our Daughter and Son, penalty of Gluten free options.

Laura Lee's is a popular restaurant known for its excellent food, accommodating dietary options, and inviting atmosphere. The menu features seasonal items and gluten-free choices, including a much-loved gluten-free fried chicken sandwich. Customers praise the well-curated wine selection and creative cocktails, especially the signature Tiger's Eye and the mocktail called everything nice, which are both popular choices. The seafood, appetizers, oysters, salads, and the gluten-free fried chicken sandwich are often highlighted as delicious and satisfying. Some guests enjoy the pasta bolognese with a pleasantly surprising spice level, and the corn bread appetizer is noted for being moist and flavorful, with large cubes and great butter.
The service is generally attentive and friendly, though some guests mention moments of feeling rushed or awkward with staff. The atmosphere inside is inviting and cozy, making it a good spot for both relaxing meals and drinks. The patio adds to the fun and relaxing vibe, especially in good weather. While parking can be a little difficult, many find the overall experience worthwhile. Laura Lee's remains a favorite for its great food, good vibes, and options that cater to different tastes and dietary needs.
