Firstly, I love Carenas, but my brother loves Queens. I tried it since he was treating. We both had the curry chicken. Now it was good and flavorful but toooooo spicy after three forkfuls I gave up. My brother ate his but was sweating and said, "Whew, it opens the sinuses." Lmbo. Otherwise, I could've eaten it, but spicy spicy isn't my thing. It's definitely worth a try, but not a sit-down spot more. Grab and go eatery. Ooh I did love the huge sliced carrots in this dish.

I have lived in Richmond since 2018 and this is my first time eating here. I ordered a small oxtail rice and cabbage. I paid $17. The oxtail flavor was ok however it was dry. I kept on biting into cloves! I could not and did not enjoy my meal. I have never had a bad Jamaican food experience. I have only heard good things about this place. However my experience was not as good as a I thought it would be.
