“I firmly believe in giving credit where credit is due, so I wanted to leave this review.

I stopped into Jersey Mike’s and ordered a Chipotle Cheesesteak with extra meat, extra cheese, and no peppers or onions. When I got home, I took a bite and immediately knew something wasn’t right. I opened the sandwich and realized I’d been given a chicken sandwich with peppers and onions instead.

I want to be absolutely clear about something: the sandwich itself was very well made. It had great proportions, was put together neatly, and wrapped properly. Whoever made it did an excellent job—it just wasn’t what I ordered.

For a few minutes I debated whether it was worth driving back because, honestly, it was a good sandwich. But Jersey Mike’s is a bit of a nostalgia meal for me, and when I order it, I want the sandwich I was craving.

I called the store, explained what had happened, and the employee who answered the phone immediately apologized and offered to remake it without any hesitation. I drove back, and my replacement was ready when I arrived. They exchanged the incorrect sandwich for the new one with no hassle at all.

When I got home and opened the replacement, it was another beautifully made sandwich—excellent distribution of meat and cheese, served hot, and this time made exactly the way I ordered it. It was honestly one of the best Jersey Mike’s sandwiches I’ve ever had.

Mistakes happen in every restaurant. What stands out is how a team responds when they happen, and these employees handled it professionally, politely, and quickly. They turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a great one, and I think every one of them deserves recognition for that.

P.S. As a funny little side effect of all this, I’ll actually be trying one of your chicken sandwiches next time I come in—probably with bacon and ranch. I had never tried your chicken before because I always come for the cheesesteaks, but even though it wasn’t what I ordered, it was genuinely good. So thanks for accidentally introducing me to something new.”

“Service and food prep depends on who's working the line. Sometime it's personal and great. Other times it's like moving thru a lunch line and the soup nazi throws the slop in the bowl. Overall it's usually very good.”

“My Wife and I went up here today (9/18/26) around 1:40pm for our 11th year marriage anniversary. We sat outside at the bar because the weather was so nice. The bartender (unfortunately I don't remember her name. Blonde girl with nose rings and tattoos.) was super nice and gave amazing recommendations and add-ons to try with our food. She kept our drinks coming, chatted with us, and was just all around amazing. The other girl who was helping out was also great. Been here twice now, and it will always be our go to date spot. 😄”

After a bad day- I went in this Subway very down & I left smiling & laughing. Both young ladies were so bubbly & greeted me as soon as I walked in. I came to get a sub for my mother- Personally I haven’t had Subway in about 10 years- but becuase of their suggestions I decided to give it a try. I will be back to this specific location because they were such a delight!

“We may be biased, but the food is excellent. Most people forget that Frutta Bowls is also part of the restaurant. The convenience of a full Saladworks menu and a Frutta Bowls menu allows for a little something for everyone. That's great for families that want healthy, delicious options they know the children will enjoy too.”

They have plant based cheese and italian sausage for vegan options. Not bad. Lots of veggies to add as well. I would have loved to see beyond steak tips or soy curls on the menu, but what they have is totally feasible and I ended up with a good vegan pizza.

I placed a pick up order and the form/website told me it would be ready in 13 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later and it hadn't gone in yet... took another 30 minutes to get the pizza. However -- the person working realized that this was not a great customer experienced, and they offered to refund me the full amount without me having to ask or express frustration or anything. There were a few other people waiting on late pizzas and he offered them the same as well. I'm very please with how they handled that situation. Seemed like they may have been short staffed.”

“Love love loveee this new location they always have hot food and have appropriate portion sizes not too much like highland springs, and not always trying to give baby potions because of their customer volume like Chester when they are trying to push people out the door. They also make food at the end of the night unlike Chester and bin air who will tell you they are all out of everything 45mins before closing. I have my best days when Adame, Taniya, and the short older woman are working. It’s always super clean they drop food often and the managers are NEVER scared to step up when their team needs help. Oh yeahhh! And They ALWAYS greet me and treat me nice. I’m not sure the woman’s name I’ll ask next time though. Best new location for sure!”

“Wow! This place is amazing. Now for me, when I say amazing in regards to restaurants it is normally always weighted about 75% directly towards the only reason I am there, The Food. This small place has been tucked in beside a Food Lion at a strip mall and slinging rice for over 25 YEARS! But unlike so may other oriental establishments, they have been working on the food and got it right!! But more on that in a minute.

After 25 years, it was finally time for a Make-Over. And I don't mean just replacing the nasty peice of hanging plastic across the counter like they have at banks. Or cleaning the glass on the old washed out colored pictures of the food dishes plastered all over the walls which still leave you wondering if that green stuff is broccoli or a fuzzy catapillar. I'm talking about making a space that is honest to goodness CHILL!

Several super call-outs. The huge matching pictures on the walls immediately start to fill you will a sense of peace and being relaxed. The lighting is not overwhelming but still allows you to see what you're eating. The truly nice touch is that even the design and color of the hanging lamp shades match the color and design of the wall pictures to multiply the atmosphere of the space. Very calming. A new addition to the dining room is the heated buffet table for their lunch crowd. The small mirrors and crushed glass diamond accenting on the buffet table also matches the front service counter. They shared great pride in their long and prosperous cultural heritage along the back wall. Very nice touch while maintaining the gravity of their history.

The Food was amazing! So, full disclosure, I make this statement based on the level of their ability to make the simplest and most fundamental item on their menu. The Fried Rice. Because rice is the foundation of most every dish served, if the fried rice sucks, so does the dish. Why would I care if your Wanton Soup is out of this world if I can't stand your rice. In the case of this restaurant rice pays the bills, not the soup.

The rice was perfect. No hard uncooked grains or dry no-tasting cardboard that no amount of soy sauce could change. They don't normally have bean sprouts in their fried rice but were happy to add them when I asked with no fuss or whinning. So tender that I was actuality able to taste and know I was eating INDIVIDUAL grains of rice and not a bowl of chopped straw or maybe oatmeal. And, everything about my Wife's dish of Sesame Chicken was fantastic. Not a bunch of hard clumps of batter to cover up tiny pieces of chicken.

Great experience. Very kind and attentive server. They were closed for a month or so during the make-over but are now back and open for business. I speak blessings and abundance over them. I invite and challenge you to test my review.

“I came in for a submarine sandwich today and the young American lady who took my order was very polite and even had very good recommendations for the toppings/veggies to go on my sub. The bread was very fresh, fresh cut meats and the sub was not messy and was made picture perfect, it was amazingly delicious. The place was very clean. I will be back for lunch in the near future.
