“This was a fabulous find. Being the Southern inspired menu, we opted for the fried green tomato appetizer, panko breaded deviled eggs were an unexpected and unusual offering that was phenomenally delicious. We also enjoyed their cajun pasta to round out the meal. We had courteous service from staff that were friendly, responsive and informative and efficient and fun. Very reasonable priced for quality and quantity of food. Highly recommend.”

“I know there are a lot of mixed reviews but I will share my 8/24 visit. I ordered Flo's filet with loaded baked potato and salad. My friend ordered the bone in ribeye, sweet potato and salad. We both agreed they were the best steaks we have had in some time. Cooked perfect,hot,no fat.Potato's hot and excellent. Bread was good. Picked out a couple pieces of lettuce with spots out of the salad. Overall excellent meal and server was friendly and great!”

They had probably the biggest and best bacon double cheeseburger I have had. (I went with regular fries because I wasn't trying to over eat.)

“A nice place to eat. If you bring more than 5 people with you, expect to pay 18% more than you would because they charge you without telling you or having it posted anywhere in the restaurant. We usually enjoy eating here. We brought family with us and had a poor server, then they threw in the surprise extra fee because we had 7 people... when I asked, they then told me about the fee and where it told about it in the store... they said and I quote "when we 1st opened, we had it posted on our website, but took it off since people know it now..." verbatim what I was told. My wife & I eat there a lot... well- we did. And we definitely won't bring more clientele with us when we do. Food is pretty good. Service tends to be ok... for the most part... hopefully you won't have any complaint because they don't care about them.”

So far I have tried several different options each time I am surprised and satisfied. Food made to order of course well seasoned, no soy sauce to make it taste better. “Cheesesteak was really good. Philly approved, Just a lil salty. Got jalapeño, american cheese and grilled onions and mayo only. Philly people dont put lettuce and tomato like virginia is typical of.
The mild bone in wings were very good.
The potato wedges were very good.
The burger was good but i asked for pickle, lettuce tomato and cheese. Standard burger but they didn turkey bacon and egg. Not gonna complain for free egg and bacon but for someone who doesnt eat everything that would be an issue.
The fried pickles were good but most combined and it bacame a crispy pickle ball.
The whole wings aka big wings were not that good. Had a taste to it like wasnt seasoned well.
Long story short i would eat again but will call and not do online order. Cheesesteak and wedges with a side of cheese and 5 wings would be a good munch.

“Colonial Italian Restaurant in colonial heights: if you have an Italian taste bud it’s great. My husband and I sat at the bar for our first time there. After sitting there for about 10 mins we were finally asked if we were dinning in or carrying out. coming from a past server/bartender the service was HORRIBLE. Food was great. I got the build your own pasta with a soup. Soup came out first, after finishing that the plate and bowl sat there until we left. My plate from my pasta after being boxed sat there until we left as well. Felt like we were just a nuisance to her evening. The bartender was NOT FRIENDLY, and I know from past profession we have our good days and bad days but what an experience. She had more conversation and friendliness towards her “regulars” that came in than anyone that was sitting at the bar. We will definitely sit at a table next time.”

“I had a Door Dash delivery from Excel and it was wonderful. I had the Bean Curd with Szechuan Sauce and Kung Pao Chicken. Both dishes were great with fresh vegetables cooked to perfection. The sauces on both were flavorable and NOT greasy nor overpowering.”

“I went in to ask for a menu to place a to go order. The pizza I ordered was a medium with toppings that included extra cheese on thick crust. Their menu had a lot to choose from. The pizza had a very nice thick crust, fresh toppings and was great food for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be ordering from them again!”

The Gyro’s served here are absolutely great. Drink options are good too. Only reason why service is a 4 is because they were understaffed, but they were doing a great job nonetheless. 5/5.”

“1:57pm DES was amazing very friendly very welcoming and very fast at getting the job done and very honest about how fresh her cookies were that were on display I am amazed I’ve been wanting subway for weeks now I visited 2 subways in Petersburg before coming here and they were horrible and very unwelcoming but DES changed my opinion on that coming to this location DES u did great Girl Thank you I hope management sees this ASAP !”
