“Awesome second time at this place. The first time I did a take out order of Fried Oysters and Moroccan Lamb Meatballs. The oyster's breading was a little soggy and the meatballs were over done when i got home(I only live 15 mins away). However, that is mostly my fault because neither of those foods travel well. This time I did the dine in with the Fried Oysters and the Petersburger. The Fried Oysters were great as well as the burger. The only complaint I had was that the oysters were a little bit on the small side. I had the oysters, burger, and an old fashioned for around 48 before tip, so it's a little pricey, but well worth checking out if you're in the area. Just be advised that, some of the food doesn't travel well, and there could be a wait depending on the size of your party.”
“It was my first time to this brewery and I was extremely pleased. The service was really good, the beers were all above average and the pizza was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Dry rubbed wings were really good too. Great job guys. The Crab Razz was a fantastic sour beer. Just a few minutes off the interstate too.”
“The overall experience was nice I had my birthday party there The food took awhile to be served for our party of 20+ but the atmosphere was greatParking: Plenty of parking provided freeKid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed and had an adequate menu for children”
“Authentic and delicious southern Italian food (the owners are from Italy!). Extensive, however, not overwhelming menu. Great atmosphere and even a large patio for nice days to eat al- fresco! The service was excellent...definitely a must try for anyone planning a visit to historic Petersburg - even if it is to sample this wonderful gem of a place! Bravi ?? ?? ??”
“Had dinner with my parents tonight at Soshel Bistro and it was awesome. The food was fast and tasty and extremely reasonably priced. Frozen margaritas were $5 and the DJ was killing it with reggae and some throwback tunes. The waitress and the owner were very kind and the service was second to none. Great way to kick off my birthday weekend. Highly recommend!”
“This is a hidden diamond. Been there a few times now 4 stars on food simply because I've only had a few things. Staff is always great and they have some great performers in the martini lounge as well as bands in the lower level. Do not let the location fool you. Definitely worth a visit.”
“I Love going to this place. Great food great prices. Such nice servers and attentive. The surrounding decor is rather nice. Very stimulating in the fact that it will put a smile on your face. 95% of the menu I just love. That being said, I just haven't eaten everything yet. Lol. Obviously I enjoy going there. It being located where they are, makes it a pleasant and not so crowded environment. I love this place for all my Mexican food. Remind me of how my mom and aunt cooked. Love”
“During our recent visit to Fort Gregg-Adam, a familiar spot from my time as a Young Marine, my family and I decided to explore the area for a soul food restaurant and stumbled upon Croakers. This restaurant is conveniently located in an older part of downtown.Upon entering Croakers, we were not greeted right away, but the staff informed us of the wait time, which we were okay with. The restaurant had a charming decor, spacious layout, and appeared to be well-maintained and popular. Once we were seated, we noticed that our waitress could benefit from some additional training to be more attentive to the customers. The highlight of our experience was the delicious food! Although the chicken wings could use more seasoning, the cornbread, in particular, was delightful with its sweet flavor. Cabbage and the mashed potato were very tasty, also. Our son, stated the garlic bread to be overly salty, but his shrimp fettuccine was delicious, and my husband, who is a huge seafood lover, suggested the portion size of the catfish could be a bit more generous, a larger catfish would be quite enjoyable! However, the food was served hot and satisfying.Overall, our visit to Croakers was pleasant, and we would consider returning. It would be great if the wait staff received further training in hospitality and customer engagement to enhance the overall experience for guests.”
“Food was delicious!! Service was good considering the owner is doing it all until business pick up. The wait time is about 45 minutes to an hour. Ambiance was ok considering the location.”
“My family and I tried Traditionz for the first time today. We ordered a full rack of fried ribs. We got the Garlic Parmesan and the mambo sauce. They were very good. I would definitely go back. we went to the food truck off of Jefferson Davis and they did not disappoint. The Garlic Parmesan was my favorite. I had to talk my husband out of going to get a whole other rack. It was definitely worth trying. The only thing that I felt could have been better was the fries. They were hot a fresh but could've been fried harder.”
“The staff was very friendly and patient because I couldn't decide what I wanted. Ended up with a cheese pizza when it came out it was everything I could want in a pizza. At any other pizza place the cheese slides off the pizza because it's usually so greasy and they use way too much sauce but not here. It was amazing and the customer service was awesome. Very friendly staff that you can tell actually care about their jobs (hard to come by these days). If I could give 10 stars I would. Think I may go back tomorrow tbh.”
“N Sycamore St in Petersburg is a gastronome’s fever dream. Who knew? Oyster Society, with eclectic menu and even more eclectic decor fits right in. Menu changes every three months. Small plates aren’t small and “manifestations” are manifestly magnificent. If craft cocktails are your thing, you’ll find something to suit. Deserts limited but are a work of art. Not for everyone but be bold and give it a go”
