“Decided to treat myself to a Mom break, had a book, a great drink, and a delicious, FRESH and all home made meal. Music was great and the whole atmosphere was just perfect and relaxing. I had the most amazing oysters, and all of the food was AMAZING! Chicken Caesar Salad 🥗 was incredible! Kudos to the Chef(s) and staff!! 🤩🤩🤩 Jamela was my server, and she was not only ridiculously kind and welcoming, but completely knowledgeable about the entire menu, about all the locations, what to recommend and all of the different delicious sauces! “Had a lovely dinner here while traveling along the I-95 corridor and staying across the street at the Hampton Inn in Petersburg Fort Lee (also a very nice place). Service was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious, freshly prepared with ample portions at a very reasonable price. An extensive drink selection from the bar is available. Plenty of seating in the dining room area and overall a very well maintained establishment. An authentic, local restaurant business we absolutely hope to visit again during future travel!”

“The historic Trailway bus station is now an amazing Yemeni-infused coffee/pastry shop and cigar lounge. The atmosphere is warm and inviting while keeping its historic character intact. The staff are knowledgeable and provide excellent recommendations. The owner often interacts with patrons and takes pride in an excellent experience. Everything I’ve tried has kept me coming back for more. This is a welcomed addition to Petersburgs ever-growing food scene.”

“This place was chosen by a friend for my first time in the city. It was a great place to sit and have a conversation and catch up. The calamari was…very well done as an overly cooked. The staff was amazing though. Shout out to Anna who made the perfect Arnold Palmer and provided a great service.
I was told I need to come back for the chicken Alfredo pizza so let’s see what happens. Maybe we can upgrade to that fifth star.”

“I enjoyed my dine-in experience at Longstreet Deli. I made it my business to stop by after seeing so many people every time I would pull up to the traffic light beside the deli. I was a little uncomfortable at first because the race ratio but the warm service and nice, kind workers made me feel right at home. I will definitely return soon.”

“Staff super friendly and clean establishment. My first visit as I walked in I noticed fresh deserts…. Different sorts pies, sliced cakes, strawberry, chocolate and such. I was impressed with the variety of smoothie options. There were also guest enjoying their meals eating in. I ordered the fried catfish dinner (good portion) which was seasoned to perfection. For my sides I had collards and Mac&chs. Everything was delicious. I’m usually very particular with my foods as I cook a lot at home so I know good food and flavoring. Can’t wait to try something else at Tenny T’s New Day! By the way if you get fried fish ask for the prepared dipping sauce. They make it per your order if requested.”

“5 stars Nicest locally owned franchise Arby’s we’ve ever visited. Beautiful interior that includes a live tree in the dining area, growing towards the skylights. The menu is more extensive compared to the norm, which includes some healthier options. We enjoyed a frozen custard shake made with fresh strawberries, banana and wheat germ. It was very clean and the staff were incredibly professional and friendly. If you are ever driving past Petersburg Va, it’s the place to stop!”

“When I was there it was takeout only. Neat atmosphere with all the Jazz memorabilia. The lady at the counter was very nice. I had the fish sandwich with Mac and cheese. It had two nice filets. The Mac and cheese was AWESOME. I was full, but it was too good to not eat. If you like a little spice with the fish, I'd suggest trying the rinkeydink sauce. Thank you for the great experience.”

“The special was Fried Buttermilk Chicken. I had 4 pieces of chicken, so for the money, it was well worth it. It was really salty though! And that was kind of a turn off!The beef barbque sandwich for $10.95 was okay, seemed a little skimpy. I also bought a pound of beef barbque to go. It was really good and pretty much medium as ordered. There was a couple of nice slices on top and then underneath had some smaller pieces with fat and gristle included. I asked for cups for sauce, but they wanted to charge me for that. The manager said the beef had sauce on it, but it was not throughout the whole pound. That was a little disappointing for $23.00/pound.”

“This small place packs a big bang! Please do not let the exterior of this location as i promise this location has some of the best food and tortillas ever! Its like my mama made it in the back! Their food is delicious as they good it fresh daily every morning! We arrived around 10A and they were grilling chicken and steak with the smell of deliciousness! We grabbed a pound of their fresh homeade corn tortillas and they are THE BEST!! Literally cost no more than $4 for homemade corn tortillas!! They also have items such as fresh produce and additional seasoning, food etc. You can eat inside if you want as well. They have about 6 tables inside!! Must Try!!”

“When I say a 10 all around the board regarding this place!! They never disappoint me!! Every dish I’ve tried from here has been amazing. Shrimp and broccoli w/fried rice, shrimp lomein w/shrimp fried rice, shrimp egg rolls, the “ Famous Fried Chicken and onion fried rice and vegetable fried rice, even to the general tos chicken wings.. straight fire!! They are close on every Tuesday but other than that they are one and ready to serve and they are quick with getting your order ready for pickup and even dine in experience. The bathrooms are not nasty as most Chinese restaurants. They typically keep it clean. So yea I definitely recommend them for a Chinese cuisine experience!!”

When driving through for a work trip, I needed somewhere to stop for lunch. Looked up hibachi places and thought about skipping this one, but give it a shot hoping the food was really good. I was not let down.

Interior is as you’d expect.
Service was frequently and fast.
Did was plenty and plenty good.

All in all, I’d say this is a goldilocks kind of spot - Just Right.
