Longstreet has become our new favorite! We sit at the bar and try to have our order ready! The times we’ve been there, they look like they are short staffed but our server was still very attentive and super nice! Will definitely be back! Oh and we love the chicken & waffles, club sandwich and fried oysters:)
The best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten, I'm not a shrimp and grits judge full time NO and I just might be a simple person but the shrimp and grits are freaking amazing you must try this at least once. Seriously I have had this dish many times at many different local seafood restaurants on many different occasions on several different beaches and they just got SMOKED by this small sandwich shop in old Town petersburg...SMOKED so bad it should be a crime. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and after a few minutes realized this restaurant was FULL and only 3 employees in the main floor . They were busting butt , the food was amazing , the tea was SWEET , Southern sweet , it was really nice. I don’t plan on coming back to Va soon but I wanted to reach out and recognize the hard work and the wonderful service from Longstreet ! Stay Blessed new friends !
