Met some friends on Thursday around 4. They have happy hour. ? Grilled shrimp were awesome and the beer was cold. Basketball was on 3 tvs!!!Parking: Not too hard to find parking.

Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. We were seated quickly and after a few minutes realized this restaurant was FULL and only 3 employees in the main floor . They were busting butt , the food was amazing , the tea was SWEET , Southern sweet , it was really nice. I don’t plan on coming back to Va soon but I wanted to reach out and recognize the hard work and the wonderful service from Longstreet ! Stay Blessed new friends !

Longstreet has become our new favorite! We sit at the bar and try to have our order ready! The times we’ve been there, they look like they are short staffed but our server was still very attentive and super nice! Will definitely be back! Oh and we love the chicken & waffles, club sandwich and fried oysters:)

The best shrimp and grits I have ever eaten, I'm not a shrimp and grits judge full time NO and I just might be a simple person but the shrimp and grits are freaking amazing you must try this at least once. Seriously I have had this dish many times at many different local seafood restaurants on many different occasions on several different beaches and they just got SMOKED by this small sandwich shop in old Town petersburg...SMOKED so bad it should be a crime. To the cooks...you boys nailed it....yall some cooking fools up in that establishment.Parking: Shrimp and grits to hell with parking, just walkKid-friendliness: Kids need shrimp and grits too

We’ve been coming here for years and have never been treated the way we were the other night. We were literally kicked out for seeing roaches and saying something about it! Four of us were in there having drinks and apps, one of the girls with us saw roaches crawling up the wall near the bathroom and told us, well apparently the waitress thought she said it too loud and got really mad and told us we needed to be quiet and not make a big deal out of it, that some of her tables heard us. She proceeded to get really nasty and started running her mouth to our whole group. One of the guys even came out of the kitchen and got up in one of our guys faces cause he was defending us considering we did nothing wrong. Then they kicked all of us out. Literally made a scene and kicked us out cause we saw roaches! We definitely will never step foot back in here along with many other friends, family, and businesses who have heard about what happened. It’s just sad this place has gone so down hill and they now have employees who treat customers so poorly.

I used to love this place and spent thousands here during its hay day. But recently I had family and friends asked to leave because they saw roaches and said something about it. Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting. I posted this review on Facebook and was blocked and removed from their page.

Hummm let me see, got an old cup of coffee, asked for fresh, got sweet tea, asked for unsweetened, ordered signature crab cake sandwich, they ran out, asked for mix poorboy sub of shrimp & oysters, they said ok, brought me all oyster s instead. Three different people kept coming to my table to ask me same questions....outside of that it was ok.

What can I say about a Petersburg staple?! President Obama stopped there on his campaign trail and I see why! The food and service is the best! French Dip or cake...their "frips" rival those that I've had in Italy and Miami! The best of the best!! Thanks for always letting me come in and chow down!
7/2024Time: Around 1pmService is lacking. Waited to be seated. Then waited even longer to get asked for drinks. People arriving after us were asked for drinks before us. Busy Sunday, 2 running the floor.Seated by the door by the gentleman in a burgundy shirt. I asked if we can be seated somewhere due to be next to the door with the cold air coming in. He answered with an attitude about having to clean tables, which I mentioned I was willing to wait. That was followed with him saying that he had more orders to get and then tried to offer the table to people behind me. I interrupted him and stated, “ I was only asking a question. You don’t have to give the table away, just answer my question. If you can’t, then you can’t.”We left after waiting to get our orders in. I understand when things are running behind, but I left because of other pressing issues. But, the waitress gave a sharp, snippy, “Great then!” when we informed her we were leaving.This was my first time here and all I can say is attitude was not needed in either of the interactions.

I had a chicken Philly which had a roach COOKED into the sandwich and this establishment did not show any sincere concern about my health and well being i do not recommend this establishment!

This place had the filthiest ceiling fans I have ever seen. The dust must have been at least an inch thick on top b/c it was clinging to the sides and undersides(the part which faces the customers and...FOOD) of the blades. Just disgusting! While our server was nice enough, the black bean burger was charred and rather flavorless. Our wraps were nicely filled and the beers were cold...both good points. Doubtful that we will return, though.?
