A locally owned watering hole with American standard sandwiches and entrees in Old Towne Petersburg sharing its name with a Confederate General paying ode to the nearby Petersburg National Monument. The desserts were amazingly decadent and delicious.
Great lunch at Longstreet’s Deli in Petersburg. Hamburgers were large, fresh, and delicious. Fries were cooked perfectly — crunchy and good. Solid local beer selection, and everything we tried was excellent. Wait staff were friendly and attentive.

2026. Crowded and service was great considering crowd. The menu was very reasonable priced and food was excellent. I dont think anyone got the same thing. I used to go to Longstreet what seems likes years ago because of price, good food, and best atmosphere in Petersburg Va. Years later it is still a go to place.
