Tortilleria Juquila tienda & Restaurant is a true hole-in-the-wall spot, nothing fancy, but the food is amazing. The meats are tender and well-seasoned, and the tortillas are definitely homemade. The barbacoa, chicken, and costillas with rice, beans, and fresh corn tortillas are really good. The plantains are delicious, grilled to perfection, sweet and soft with caramelized edges. The Tacos Al Pastor are INCREDIBLE, and the carne asada tacos are a bit salty but have flavor. Tacos are fresh and authentic for $3 each. They also have a small shop inside with pastries, a great selection of drinks, snacks, grocery items, and a lot of good bread. It is a great spot for lunch or dinner.
