“My family and I had a wonderful experience, especially with our server, Ally! She was the best ever—super nice, hilarious, and very knowledgeable. She kept us laughing the entire time we were there, and we even had her laughing too! 😀

She went above and beyond by moving us to another table because it was very cold where we were sitting. A lot of places wouldn't have done that since the other side was closed, but Ally made it happen without hesitation.

She truly made our dining experience memorable. If you get the chance, definitely ask for Ally....you won't be disappointed!“

“A good experience from start to finish. We showed up right after they opened with a party of 9 and they were very accommodating for a Sunday morning. Service was prompt and the food was excellent and the portions were very satisfying. The bread was excellent.“

“Colonial Italian Restaurant in colonial heights: if you have an Italian taste bud it’s great. My husband and I sat at the bar for our first time there. After sitting there for about 10 mins we were finally asked if we were dinning in or carrying out. coming from a past server/bartender the service was HORRIBLE. Food was great. I got the build your own pasta with a soup. Soup came out first, after finishing that the plate and bowl sat there until we left. My plate from my pasta after being boxed sat there until we left as well. Felt like we were just a nuisance to her evening. The bartender was NOT FRIENDLY, and I know from past profession we have our good days and bad days but what an experience. She had more conversation and friendliness towards her “regulars” that came in than anyone that was sitting at the bar. We will definitely sit at a table next time.“

“I went in to ask for a menu to place a to go order. The pizza I ordered was a medium with toppings that included extra cheese on thick crust. Their menu had a lot to choose from. The pizza had a very nice thick crust, fresh toppings and was great food for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be ordering from them again!“

“My husband and I came in from out of town, and decided we wanted pizza for dinner. We had our dogs with us, so we would need someplace that was dog friendly. It was a little chilly outside, but we dined on the patio. We ordered a medium “works” pizza and a small fry. Portions were huge! Service was fantastic and food was delicious.“

“We were staying in the area, food was pretty good! Prices were decent, my husband LOVED the catfish nuggets. The toasted ravioli was pretty good as well. Our Entrees which included the shrimp and chicken fettucine Alfredo and baked ziti were very normal, nothing crazy. The flavors weren't spectacular, just very simple. One thing we noted is that while all of the staff were very kind and decently accommodating, you can easily tell they need to work on organizing how staff is trained and tables are being seated. The potential is there, they just need a lot more structure.“

“Until recent years, I had not been to a Rosa's since the '80s! Recently we discovered that they served breakfast until 2:00 p.m. And you could get lunch at the same time. That serves us very well! So when we're in town, roses is definitely the spot. Today I had a tuna sub and G had a Spanish omelette. Both were just great! I don't think I'll ever go back to Subway for a tuna sub or any sub really. They have another sub with five in the name but is really really good! And they have a drive-thru. I also love their stuffed shells. And the servers are always attentive.“

“First time eating here tonight with family. Awesome authentic Italian dishes with lots of flavor! We had the best service from our waitress, Virginia. She was so pleasant and made sure we didn't lack for anything. Prices are in-line with quality food and very generous portions. The owner was visible and took time to stop by our table to make sure they met our expectations. Can't wait to eat here again!“

“This place was chosen by a friend for my first time in the city. It was a great place to sit and have a conversation and catch up. The calamari was…very well done as an overly cooked. The staff was amazing though. Shout out to Anna who made the perfect Arnold Palmer and provided a great service.
