“Joe’s Out is connected to Joe’s In. Due to my schedule and my time in Richmond to see my son and his family, I’m always heading to Joe’s Out to grab amazing food and of course their fabulous Ice Cream! 9 out of 10 times I’m greeted by Austin, the young man that always smiles and provides you with great conversation and service. I can honestly say that I have never had better food and service from an establishment that caters to those of us that want to get hot tasty take out than Joe’s Out!

“Food was tasty. Was a bit overpriced for the serving size. I expected gnudi when I ordered gnudi but instead I received regular pasta with a lot of pesto. That was disappointing. Maybe trying a bit too hard. The rabbit was good. It was prepared like an Asian dumpling soup, not spectacular. A bit unexpected but an enjoyable meal. Probably not returning as I did not get what was ordered and it was expensive for what was served.“

“We visited for the first time yesterday. Our waitress was pleasant company and attentive. The person who sat us was a doll. We ordered a few different things to get a feel for the food. The margherita pizza was fantastic. The penne vodka was probably the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had, and that is not an exaggeration. My husband really enjoyed his chicken parm. Happy to have found this new to us gem for when we are in the area. Thank you for bringing some of the NY Italian food charm to the Richmond area. We will for sure be back!“

“First time at Edo’s last night. There was a couple walking up the stairs in front of us as we went in, and when we got to the door, a waitress said “I need that cup” and yanked it out of the woman’s hand as she walked off. She was the same waitress that sat us, but not who took our order. The waitress who took our order was extremely rude almost the entire time. A couple of times she brought food out and put it on our table AS she’s walking by. I stopped her once, to ask if we could have our bread warmed as it was cold. She barely stopped as she said “no.” And continued walking. The waitresses were rude and made me feel so uncomfortable with their terrible attitudes. Atmosphere is a little cramped but it was fine. The food was AMAZING though. It was really hot, and the pasta portions were GENEROUS.“

“First time eating here. The decor and ambiance was great. The vibe was good. Our waitress Kelly was awesome. The food was DELICIOUS & portions were hearty! However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

We thought we would make a comparison: well, this place was head and shoulders above that famous area. In fact, I would say this is by far the best Italian restaurant in Richmond; better than Edo Squid; better than Dinamo; better than the famous, now closed, Mama Zu’s. “Look I've been to a lot of Olive Gardens in my life and I've had mediocre, great, and poor experiences. However, we genuinely had the best experience we've ever had a few days ago by our server Marcus.
Seriously, not once did we have to wait for anything. Refills, check-ups, appetizers, and the check were done with expedience and attention. Amazing personality & atmosphere brought to our table by him. Not only that, but he gave us extra soup and refills with our boxes!

“mi pueblito pizzeria and restaurant??? more like TORTA DE CARNE ASADA RESTAURANT!! this place should be known for their torta’s, not pizza. look. my dad is from the caribbean. i’ve never heard of a torta in my life until i came to this place.

my girlfriend’s family have been coming here for years (she’s salvadoran) and she said the sopa de pollo tastes like home. everytime she eats here food she makes a “mmm” sound so it means she happy.

as you can see below we had a feast (wasn’t the first time) we got empanadas, queso de pupusas (wasn’t as good as her moms), horchata, torte de carne asada, and even sopa de pollo

the food was so good, the atmosphere is cool, the workers speak espanol, and the prices are reasonable. come here if you want a full belly

I had a gift card so decided to dine in on a Thursday evening.
All you can eat bread sticks, soup and salad.
Friendly staff. Too a long time for food to come out. But server was quick to refill drinks and replenish salad ans soup.
