“Marcus and his sports bar are awesome! The atmosphere is fun, the staff is friendly, and Marcus really goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome. The drinks were great, the food was tasty, and it’s a perfect spot to watch games with friends. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“We went here because I was in the mood for BBQ and I assumed they had it because of the cute name and pig logo.
I was not disappointed.
The BBQ was juicy and delicious, even before I put the sent from heaven (molasses based?), sweet sauce on it. The fries were crisp and yummy. They have a vinegar based sauce available, too.
My husband liked his sandwich. The mozzarella logs were really good, tasting like real moz! The coating and fry was light.
The waitress wasn't, or didn't seem to be, annoyed by me. (LOL) She was super sweet and efficient.
The atmosphere is that of a pub. They have live music on designated nights. Seems like it'd be a fun atmosphere.
I'd definitely return to this place.“

“Wow! My first time at Anthony’s #2. I was welcomed by the manager (could have been the owner) and was told to sit wherever I want. The young man that served me had a fantastic attitude and did a great job. They started me with a hot, fresh baked roll and a salad. It was not a gourmet salad, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp with tomato, onions and green olives. Then the Chicken Parmesan came out over spaghetti with plenty of gravy ( yes, that is what grandpa Emilio called it) - two thick pieces of chicken. I had a glass of red wine and the bill WAS $24.00. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars for me.“

“We visited for the first time yesterday. Our waitress was pleasant company and attentive. The person who sat us was a doll. We ordered a few different things to get a feel for the food. The margherita pizza was fantastic. The penne vodka was probably the best vodka sauce I’ve ever had, and that is not an exaggeration. My husband really enjoyed his chicken parm. Happy to have found this new to us gem for when we are in the area. Thank you for bringing some of the NY Italian food charm to the Richmond area. We will for sure be back!“

“I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

“Absolutely Phenomenal! We cannot thank the team at Grapevine enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect. From start to finish, they went above and beyond in every single way, and we are so incredibly grateful. The food was absolutely delicious! We received countless compliments from our guests, but what they raved about just as much was the staff. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredibly nice, helpful, and amazing the servers and bartenders were. They brought such a warm, positive energy to our celebration and made sure everyone was taken care of. What blew us away even more was their incredible work ethic. Despite traveling 2 to 3 hours to get to our venue, the team arrived right on time and hit the ground running. When the night ended, they didn't just pack up and leave—they stayed to help with the cleanup. They left the kitchen absolutely spotless and made sure all the trash was taken out before they departed. If you are looking for a caterer that delivers stellar food, immaculate service, and a team that genuinely cares about making your day seamless, look no further than Grapevine. “This place is the absolute best in the Richmond surrounding area. The owner is really nice and his food is amazing. The amount of food you get for the price is another reason to come here. The cheesesteak is one of the bests I’ve ever had. I ordered an 8 inch and he gave me a 12 inch. I could easily split this up into 3 meals. Go support local business and enjoy 😍“

“I did a catering order for Christmas Eve. Lasagna and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, salad with homemade Italian dressing and Garlic Knots. “The food was actually not bad at this location however the service was a little eh. We had a large party of people and they had two servers coming and going but it was like they could only remember one thing at a time. The girl that was our main server was really nice and would apologize however the gentleman server would act like it was your fault he had to run back and get something he forgot in the first place. All in all I would say a solid 4.5“

“Mimmo’s has become a weekly staple for a large group of us, and we can’t say enough good things about the place. What started as a small group lunch just before 2020 has grown significantly (especially over the last year) and it’s now common for 20+ of us to show up at once every Wednesday. Despite the size of our group, the service has never missed a beat.
The staff is always incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They happily let us move tables together so everyone can sit in one long row, and they never have any issues with separate checks for a large group. Over time they’ve even started remembering many of our regular drink orders and favorite menu items, which really shows how much they care about their customers.
The food is consistently excellent. The pizza and sandwiches are always a hit, but honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Portions are fantastic and prices are very reasonable.
One story that really says a lot about this place: during the COVID restrictions when the group couldn’t dine inside, everyone still ordered food and gathered outside in the parking lot. The owner, Daniel, brought tables and chairs outside for everyone could still sit together and enjoy lunch. That’s the kind of hospitality you don’t see everywhere.
It’s a relaxed, family-owned restaurant with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. Our group even brings radio gadgets and tech to show each other sometimes (we’re a ham radio group), and the staff has always been completely cool with it.
If you’re looking for a great local spot with good food and genuinely kind people running it, Mimmo’s is hard to beat.“

“We ordered the food for my husband’s 95 th birthday;everything was wonderful and ready when we wanted to pick it up!Everybody loved the variety,as we ordered pizza,calamari,wings,lasagna and chicken Alfredo.It worked out to $18 per person,with lots of leftovers.We ate at 3 pm,so neither lunch nor dinner!“
“2 kids and I shared a large pizza while biking around the city. Frankly, I didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza had a nice crust, both crisp and chewy. Plenty of sauce that was not a sweet as usual and enough cheese to satisfy my kids as well. Will definitely go back again.“

“The manager, Sherri, deserves a medal. She is so incredibly kind and helpful. We had a PTA event that required large quantities of pizza. She helped me through planning, but went the extra mile when we realized we needed 30 more pizzas, and she wasn’t even at the store! She put her team in motion and made our event a success. Families were full of compliments and appreciation. I highly recommend working with Sherri for all your pizza needs!!“

“As New Yorkers we really know our pizza and Italian cuisine. We tend to have high standards of expectation. That Is why we were pleasantly surprised when we visited with Apollo’s Pizza. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. The great thing is we can also order out on nights when all we want to do is go home to relax. This really is an awesome place.“

“Visiting City and Ordered Chanellos off a flyer in our hotel lobby. … WOW. Zero Expectations but these guys shot the moon. Wings and Pizza for 20 Bucks. Mango Habanero was wonderful tangy spice perfectly cooked. Plenty of wings for a Pound. But the pizza… delivered piping hot, perfectly cooked and the best part, the ingredients were QUALITY. Flavor packed sausage, crispy fresh onions and green peppers. Great job Chanellos Team! I’ll be back !“

“My daughter and I had lunch on Sunday. I enjoyed a perfect burger ! And , she had the cilantro chicken sandwich and truffle fries. All delicious !! The bread and dipping oil to start were perfect. It was our first time in and won’t be our last. Eager to try more menu items in the future. We are so glad to have Il Forno in Ashland !“
