The interior of the restaurant resembles a converted storage room, but don't let that fool you. The BBQ is the real deal, with a tender brisket and a smoky apple BBQ sauce that is done right. The smoked Mac n cheese is also a must-try.
The owner is attentive and cares about the quality of the food served. When notified about dry chicken, the owner apologized and replaced it with a fresh batch, even though the customer didn't complain. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent.
The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the catering service is simple and easy to use. The food is packed carefully and ready for pick up on time. The guest loved the food so much they took plates home with them. Smohk RVA BBQ is a great spot for those who appreciate good BBQ and excellent customer service.
