A Richmond gem, nestled in the cities most unique location in the heart of Scott’s Addition for over eight years. If you know, you know. Upon entering you are greeted by the owner Roby who will happily walk you through the menu. Shoe stoppers in this man’s humble opinion: pulled pork👌, the ribs literally dripping and melt off the bone, New Brunswick Stew, and collards done right! Do yourself a favor, skip the line and get some true blue BBQ at Smohk.
If you're a BBQ lover, you have to try this place! The brisket is absolutely melt-in-your-mouth tender with the perfect smoky flavor—each bite just gets better and better. And don’t even get me started on the pulled pork! It’s juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The meat is so soft it practically falls apart. The sauces are top-notch too—whether you prefer tangy or sweet, they've got you covered.

The food was incredible. I had a bowl with ribeye and it was the perfect balance of meat, rice and vegetables. The sauce was a great blend of sweet and tangy. There was no wait probably because it is tucked away behind the brewery. I will return!
